There have been a few that were promoted that couldn't handle the handcuffs and preferred to post as members.

Yup. You came to mind. Always appreciated that honesty.

Now, for my question: Is Byrd really male? This has been a question of mine for years (and it was answered by Byrd in the affirmative) but does anyone else really know for sure?

Byrd is a PHD.......woman. There are few people smarter. Mind she put a lot of years in.

I recognize the thread title itself dis-invites my participation, but just one brief 1000 word value picture:

It's been so long since I asked, I can't remember if I thought she was a man or woman now... Ugh!
It is too late to say, "Never mind"?

I love you, Byrd, regardless what gender you are!

Anyway, enough of that. Is Elevated One really a model, or was she just pulling our chain?

Bwahahahahahaha. EO is a "HE" but I can see where one could make that mistake.

Elevated is a "he"???

1. Does Simon Grey get directly involved in the website in any way these days?

2. Has the member with the highest WATS score ever been approached to be a moderator?

3. Which moderator, if any, has a Ph.D and are any of you Lawyers?

4. Who has the coolest car and what is it?

5. Who is the oldest / who is the youngest?

6. Who is the longest serving moderator?

7 As Kaylaluv asked - are you designated specific forums to moderate?

8. Who are the lightweights in the OP photo?

Byrd is brilliant. I may not always agree with her, but I definitely respect her, and appreciate her presence here.

As he has time available.

2. Has the member with the highest WATS score ever been approached to be a moderator?

It's not a criterion, so I doubt anyone knows

3. Which moderator, if any, has a Ph.D and are any of you Lawyers?

As previously mentioned, Byrd has a PhD. We really don't delve into people's personal background, so wouldn't know unless they divulged it.

4. Who has the coolest car and what is it?

No idea.

5. Who is the oldest / who is the youngest?

Not sure. I'm definitely not the youngest.

6. Who is the longest serving moderator?

I'm pretty sure, alien. he might also have the coolest car.

7 As Kaylaluv asked - are you designated specific forums to moderate?

Forum mods have assigned forums. Super mods float among them all.

8. Who are the lightweights in the OP photo?

All of them.

Ahh.....as I suspected. I'd believe Intrepid being one of them being a Melbourne (Demons) supporter - they can't hold much those lads, including a footy

Anyway, thanks for the responses.

Keep up the great work - I do not envy you your task!!

Ooooo I wanna answer!

I'm a huge Stephen King fan, particularly of his earlier work. Don't care to much for his newer stuff.

Gerald's Game disturbed me greatly, couldn't finish it. Ugh

I love The Stand, IT, Rose Madder, and Needful Things. He can take such an implausible storyline and create something magical just by his wordplay. Love that.

Pet Semetary is probably his scariest book....the image of Gage flying the kite, then that one liner about a few months to live.....wow.

I got in trouble for reading Carrie when I was in first grade. It was worth it, though.

Okay, back on topic.

Question for any mod:

Have you ever had to delete a thread that you truly found amusing or interesting?

I ask because my thread on Great Murdering Tits (the birds) got 404ed, and while I completely understand why.....where you laughing when you trashed it? Laughing at the thread, not at trashing it, I mean.

The puns in that thread were epic. Sigh.

The Stand is my all-time favorite. I personally thought The Shining was his scariest book.

Oh most definitely. I've deleted threads and posts I thought were hilarious. Just something you have to accept as necessary to enforce the T&C.

I should mention, I have a very different sense of humor and sometimes the hilarity was unintentional on the part of the person posting.
