So, I am curious if we have any historians in the building? I bought this plaque with 5 Presidents on it, 3 of which have passed on to greener pastures with the 5th being just about ready.

I have a picture of all 5 with their signatures and it supposedly the first time that 5 Presidents got together in one photo shoot.

So what are President signatures worth?

Thanks.

"Five Presidents"

"November 4, 1991"

"This date marked the first time in American History that five living Presidents were photographed together. President Ford, Nixon, Bush, Reagan, and Carter posed for this historical picture at the opening of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library."

Goldmine depends on a lot of things...how rare is this plaque? Was it mass produced?

Edit to add: looks like it might go for around $100...

Something interesting. In that pic there are 4 Rep. and 1 Dem. That was redone recently and it's now 3 Dem's and 2 Rep's. Times are a changin.

So much for my goldmine.

I was thinking about getting it into thicker plaque.

That would make the value go down huh?

Collectables can be protected but should never be altered.

Okay, I won't alter it then. I'll leave it like it is. On the wall.

Thanks for the quick input.

Hello, in regard to your question as to what the presidents signature is worth
I think it depends on if they are Ben Franklins, or Alexander Hamiltons

I'm going to give it too my dad as a B-day present.

He'll appreciate it.

Hopefully.

My goldmine sunk like the Titanic.

This article provides some interesting information.

This curious practice dates back to 1981 when all four living presidents gathered at the White House before Egyptian leader Anwar Sadat's funeral and later autographed copies of the photo. But it turned into a more coordinated effort, with a pre-set limit on the number of copies, when the presidential club gathered in 1991 for the dedication of Ronald Reagan's library in Simi Valley, Calif.
