Most people want to ascend and gain spiritual wisdom/enlightenment but they are still stuck at the core - the root chakra - the first step - which is overcoming fear.

The fear is justified as not being "angry" or "hateful" when it comes to the FEAR of conflict (gaining freedom).

The fear is justified as keep "positive vibes" when it comes to the FEAR of negative truth (disasters).

The fear is justified as "faith" when it comes to the FEAR of having responsibility for one's own life.

The fear is justified as "love" when it comes to letting others control and abuse you.

Yes, knowledge is POWER, but what is the point of POWER/WISDOM when you don't have the COURAGE to apply it? Being scared of threats (whether it's an abusive relationship or obedience to a self-proclaimed god) is not LOVE, it is fear of threats, it is fear of letting go of attachments. Having "faith" that one day a lover or a God will just show up in life and just take care of all of your problems for you is just FEAR of taking responsibility of ones own life. Being scared of devils, hell, demons, aliens, spirits, etc. is just the FEAR of the unknown going into new territory.

I am not claiming to be superior to anyone, I still have CERTAIN fear but at least I am aware and working on COURAGE now.

You can only be yourself when you have COURAGE, that is when the truth comes out, otherwise you are just trying to please others by avoiding disagreements/conflicts.

Fear is staying still to avoid problems in the future. Courage is being alive and continuing to flow.

As Bruce Lee said "Be water my friend. Water must FLOW otherwise it'll stale".

When fear is present life is uncomfortable and that discomfort is what drives the human to search for relief. One usually looks in mind for the answer, for the cure. The mind will say 'It will be ok' not realizing that 'It is ok'. The mind always looks to another time when it will be ok or not ok but you must see that the mind does not know what it is talking about. It is now. And what is wrong with right now...........unless you think about it?

Feel the fear - feel what fear feels like - if you believe you have fear - feel it in the moment, feel it right here and right now in the body.
Everyone is frightened of feeling fear so they try to avoid it by having a plan made by the mind. It is only the mind trying to protect you but in doing so it produces scenarios in imagination that are frightening.

Fear is inevitable it comes to all of us, some worse than others. How we manage it is the difference between suffering and tolerating or overcoming its effect. We cant hide but we can be strong against its claws.

I will laugh in the face of fear. That seems to be the only way to be the only way to instantly release this emotion, or at least lessen it.

Embarrassment? Laugh...

Fear? Laugh...

Anything negative? Laugh...

Laughter also makes things less serious and therefore less need for competition and more friendliness/openness to others...

I was torn between agreeing and disagreeing but as this is put its quite true. However the elite have this delusional concept that only the brave can progress, and they push it to the extent that it takes being martyred in extreme societal conditions. But the universe is fed up to its teeth in any form of martyr and they need to repent.

Its about growth and growth can happen when you dislike what you're in (our current world) or by creating a better world (the right way).

But courage is not about harming others, or adding fuel to a fire.

I see life as different. Standing still in your light, (of course its not really standing still, and we need to reach the flow, but can only really do so with practice at trying to operate out of our Positive Higher Frequency Self, or the Love and Peace within our light soul). And remaining conscious and not following bad orders.

But on a human level, relationship level, it doesnt mean arguing or just standing up for self, or writing others off. Sometimes for safety's sake, distance is important, even in a close relationship. Some relationships are dangerous.

But when a person starts to set aside selfishness and starts to see the other as their brother or sister from Beyond, also coming here with talents and growth potential, and no longer wants to push them over the edge, or make them dig in their heels, or magnetize to a bad idea. No longer wants to see them get upset and defensive against your argument. Wants to bring out their light, then they become their best friend and discover what makes them happy, what their talents and interests are. They drop control and offense, and feeling offended and really strive to be of good cheer, to try and be there for the other, a positive influence, a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on.

Its as if, we came in to fine tune, the goals or skills we wished to use, but were rusty, because we weren't good with other people yet. We want to say, be cosmic counselors, but though understanding cause and affect, can't negotiate with others in a selfless way, we're always getting in the way ourselves, and taking offense, instead of loving them.

So, courage to me is, the courage to work on self, and drop ourselves to help and grow in areas that assist others without needing power or control over them, but as true friends.

Courage to me is about Love.

Some say that the opposite of Love is Fear, maybe there is truth to that.

Compassion means nothing unless there is courage to actually ACT on it.

Making sacrifices to help others (such as giving to them and sometimes putting others before yourself) can be scary. It takes trust to know that you can just give to others and help them and life will still provide for you. It takes courage to be the one to be compassionate if others are not, and it takes courage to speak out against what you think is wrong and harming others/planet when no one else is.

So there is reason to believe that there is a connection with Courage and Compassion.

The Root chakra is Red. The slowest vibration of light.
Red is the color of Mars.

Mars gives us war, anger etc. but is beneficial because
Mars also gives us courage.
The only fear in this world is ignorance.
The two are always intertwined.
The root chakra is material.

Material possessions, sex, waste, all take place in this red "Hell".
But it also has its flip side just like Mars.
Being grounded, trustworthy, sure footed etc.
All attributes of a healthy base chakra.
There are no chakras in your legs or feet
because there are no Organs in these areas.

Enlightenment is saying yes to Love but no to Lust.
This happens at the root. The 7 vices to the 7 virtues.
Climbing "33" vertabrae up through
Chakras brings you to your" Temples". Where oddly Aries rules.
Above that, Saturn. Knowledge and prudence in perfect harmony.

Courage seen in the right way. But not as martyrs. Thats why we have a team up there to guide us if we begin to go within more and deprogram, and strive to reach the wiser, light as a feather parts of us, and bring in the positive, which involves dropping ego. But from how you've expressed this here, the Love or Fear paths make more sense. Since all the growth factors are in areas that involve overcoming.
