Laymen's Guide to Air Refueling. The history...

Came across this interesting read today. Here's a history of air refueling from the beginning along with some pretty cool stories. The F-117 story is similar to a mission I'm proud to have been apart of!

Air Refueling

Interesting to note is the apparent lack of tanker knowledge in the first Gulf War. Just because we have to know our SIOP/8044 mission cold, we also have to deal with conventional war as well. Wonder if this was written by a fighter jock?

I learned a lot more than I knew about tankers. The picture with the B-117 is my favorite one.
