What are you talking about? Who are the majority of people on (JPMorgan) Food Stamps?

African americans are not going through "misery" in the US. Stop it.

That is a false statement.

The majority of people in north korea, congo, china and greece are in "misery".

Not here.

It's the Progressive agenda to grow govt more and more and create dependence. When those in Hollywood make huge huge bucks in entertainment, they go on to support big govt Progressive ideologies, even though they themselves made it big in the private sector.

I didn't say African Americans, I said Americans in general. What did I say that was false? I quoted statistics. More Americans in general are suffering under Obama policies, and Progressive redistributionist policies in general.
That would be the only beef I have with the OP is that more and more Americans of every size and ethnicity are suffering. We have the highest unemployment and underemployment since the Great Depression. It's just that, as in the Great Depression, the ultra wealthy are still ultra wealthy. More black Americans have better paying jobs than ever before, but I'm pretty sure that other than a few celebrities and Union workers, most people are not doing better. Obama's policies are not doing anything for black Americans that they didn't do for themselves.

And what was your comment about JP Morgan?

We have yet to see what the real effects of Obamacare are going to be and it's going to affect everyone. The real tax hikes and hidden costs plus the effects of ruining the private sector are going to be more evident as time goes on. Already, we are finding that the cost of healthcare and premiums has gone up, and that this is costing Americans more and that the supposed cost control Obamacare was going to achieve is not happening. Instead it is costing everyone more. We knew that was going to happen, but some people won't listen. But this is what happens under Socialist Progressive policies and the private sector always suffers. Now how about you prove to me that Americans in general are doing better under the Obama economy?

In fact, just the fact that you are citing the plight of the Congolese and comparing them to Americans suggests that you might be on board with Obama policies of redistributing American wealth to foreign and third world countries just because you think it's the right thing to do.

Come to think of it, I did read something about that, in fact some thread on ATS. I am not for big bankers, precisely because they are the ones making a profit off the constant printing of money by the Fed from our stupid govt sabotaging real economic growth.

I feel that I need to interject some points.

Firstly, it is undeniable fact that Obama specifically targetted certain groups during his campaigns based on both race and culture.

His first campaign was specifically targetted AT blacks, and YOUTH, but even more specifically, black youth.

The second election was targetted at hispanics and gays.

If anyone is to be considered racist, take a step back, and look at Obama.

Now, on to my next point.

Someone asked how do his policies have anything to do with it? I ask, how do they not?

One of the first things Obama did in his first stimulus was to overturn Clinton's Welfare Reform. Welfare reform from Clinton was largely responsible for low black unemployment rates during the Bush terms, and overall unemployment. Welfare reform limited access to government assistance through re-education and job placement assistance, training, and general education.

In short, Clinton's Welfare Reform ended lifetime welfare as a way of life, it put a stop to welfare as an excuse to continue welfare, and it EMPOWERED people to serve themselves, to get out from under OPPRESSION, and to make a living without government dependency.

What people see is Obama giving unlimited unemployment, redistribution of wealth, overabundance of foodstamps, and FREE STUFF!

What is really happening? Oppression. That's right. The people falling for it are being "Kept down by the Man" and are being fooled, being herded, and kept in their "place".

They think Obama is on their side? They think Democrats are on their side?

They are being corralled and controlled in the WORST WAY. Defined as failures, limited to what they will ever accomplish, lulled into a false sense of being by thinking they are "Getting one over" in some cases, but held back from ever stepping out and finding their own potential.

The worst part of it all? They are ok with this. They think it will last forever. Seen the video of the people at the foodstamp office in Georgia when they didn't get their check? A near riot almost ensued. Why? Because they have NO other means.

That, my friends, is not assistance, it is control and oppression. The groups that have been targetted are targetted for control. The sooner you take off the goggles, the better off you will be.

The hard part is to realize it, and get off welfare and make it for yourself. After multiple generations have been raised in this way, largely black, but now adding in hispanic, the harder it is going to be.

Call me racist, I don't care. I don't agree. I am all for anyone fighting for independence and strength from within. I am all for anyone making their way in this world. I am all for people that WANT education getting it.

I am, however, sick of career welfare, and career politicians that want to oppress any free people by entrapping them, and making them feel like they have no other choice.

Do any of you remember when welfare had a stigma? Ask yourselves WHY? What was the shame? Please, be honest with yourselves. It is time to move past racial arguments, and to understand why racial groups are targetted, and why they are being oppressed, then to empower them to change. Drowning them in welfare, food stamps, and free stuff isn't doing anything but keeping them trapped. The amount they receive is limited, as are their lives. Destined to be KEPT forever poor. Why does Obama and the Democrats want that? Why did he overturn Welfare Reform that only helped people, and actually made a difference?

People DO have a choice, but victimhood and oppression have been used as tools to keep people entrapped, and now, most of then actually believe it. They have, for all intents and purposes, been brainwashed by the very government they happily elected. Dear God, did you get fooled.

I know my post above was long, but now I am going to change gears a little, and try to bring you some more enlightenment.

Lets talk about one of Obama's new outcries, Raise minimum wage!

On the coattails of the ever emotion embroiling Obamacare, the new idea is to slap already fractured small employers with a new ticket, raise the minimum wage. That sounds good, right? Cost of living has gone up, because gas has gone up, because, well some argue because of Obama's policies. Food costs on the rise because the gas costs to deliver the food, etc.

So, what other group has Obama targetted during his campaigns? The Unions! But, but, not in a negative way, right? He has been all for the Unions, although Unions only represent what, about 12% of the total workforce. But hey! They have a voice through Obama!

Now, the lowly minimum wage woker, that was NEVER designed to be a living wage, it was designed for highschool students and seniors to have additional income or spending money, and represents about 6% of the workforce.

Isn't it great that Obama is plugging for the little guy?! Hoo hah! Yay! Clap clap! Woot!

Uhm no.

Not when you look at what is really going on, because, once again the little guy is being used. That's right, USED. How? Well, Union pay is DIRECTLY LINKED to minimum wage. There, I said it. I put it out there on the table for those to know, from who the secret has been kept.

Yes. For about every 1.50 minimum wage goes up, Union workers get about a 5.75 increase.

So, you really think Obama is working for the little guy? Or, is he using them? Is he using them, the 6%, to get his Union buddies, the 12%, big FAT RAISES?

Want to know the best part? Of that 12% Union, about 90% of them are government workers.

Ouch. That kind of stings, doesn't it?

What really hurts? The poor people that don't know any better. The poor people that really think, once again, that Obama is trying to do something for them, when in reality, he is using them once more.

And now tell me, aside from teens that these low minimum wage jobs were designed for, as their first job to learn how to work, or elderly that want to supplement their Social Security, WHO else gets minimum wage?

I will wait while you all take a moment to think about this....

Oh, and let me add, do you know what happens to seniors that have part time jobs that make too much supplemental income? They LOSE some, or all of their benefits. Minimum wages have a purpose, beside allowing small businesses to hire people.

So. Have you thought about who else makes minimum wage? Could it be black and hispanic and oppressed welfare and food stamp people?

See my previous post.

I love it when people bring up "income inequality" wanna know what has changed in the last 30 years?

1. millions of American middle class use to invest in that evil Wall Street that has lifted millions out of the middle class.

Now investment is a thing only government should do with your money not you.

2. The sheer amount of dollars in clrculation compounded by regulation that leads to the growth of government that strangles business and opportunities.

To be fair here the misery index has dramatically expanded for everyone in this country and the rise of that is directly proportional to the growth of government.

Blaming Obama for the state of the country is like blaming Ronald McDonald when you get a bad cheeseburger.

He's an employee of the corporate elite.

His only real skill is public speaking, he makes you feel good about the butt raping you are getting.

This is why I supported Ron Paul, he wasn't for sale. It's also why he was forced out of the election.

Interesting post although I believe misleading. Honestly at this point I don't think any of our leaders/polititians do anything with race in mind. I believe they understand that now race isn't as uch of a driving factor as it used to be.

With it being politicaly incorrect they will likely go out of their way to try and show they are not racist. Being identified as an actual racist would be a death sentence for almost any political career.

Your post is likely 100% accurate though but I don;lt think anything right now is driven by the race factor as a whole and this kind of post can inflame certain feelings and encourage anger or help develop hatred. Although I don't believe that was your intent.

The reality is that it hasn't even been 100 years since segregation has been removed. For the longest time the black community was considered and treated as less than everyone else. So much so that people felt they were not worthy to be in the same schools, restaraunts or whatever. There are people in power now that were alove during segregation.

What that means is the black community as a whole has had less time to claw their way out of the gutter they were forced into due to passed racism. Eventually this will even out on it;s own, every generation seems more enlightened than the last as differences are more often ignored instead of focuse on to provide a reason for hatred. Personally my parents were not racist, a familt friend that was black lived with us after her divorce while she was getting her life together, BUT, when I asked to have a friend spend the night I DID get a comment that I never said they were black so they were caught offgaurd.

As a part of a more recent generation, and probably growing up on a military base with people of all races and nationalities it never occured to me that he was different so I never felt the need to provide additional information. He was merely a friend of mine.

The little boy I am raising, who happens to be part Hispanic and part white, well the first girl he said was pretty was a litle black girl. The daughter of a friend and co-worker.

These ideas of race and supposed differences because of race are quickly being outdated and rightly so.

Unfortunately the truths for all politicians today is for them to have a future job they have to pander to those that can help their situation. As I said above, unfotunately the black community has had less time to claw their way to the top after actual being allowed to be considered as equals. That means they will likely have less of their population with money or influence that could help any politions career.

On the plus side, it is most likely that the older black community that got anywhere and earned any money, position or type of power. Well they were most likely a LOT better at what they did than their white counterparts at the time. The simple fact is that they were required to work harder to prove their worth when they were considered lesser at the time.

Everything will eventually balance out as race keeps becoming less and less of a factor for everyone. Right now though race and racism can kill any politicians career. I don;t think anything can be broken down to how one race benefits or does not benefit. It is a money thing now, again unfortunately the black community has had less time to claw their way to the top so they will have mre of their population needing help as some "facts" people have posted. Not because they are less than anyone but because they were held down fairly recently.

The black community see's affects stronger in economic downturns simply because overall they haven't had so much time to bounce back from serious oppresion. I believe that oppresion regarding race is over though, the only thing we have to worry about is class warfare.

Politicians of each party will continue to support and pander to those that can help their career, black or white, so whoever has money will probably gain more money and the have not's will get less until people decideit is too much then we will all likely suffer.

What is really sad about this is that these results are in relation to statistical analysis, which is subject to all kinds of interpretation. For example I can look at this data and also conclude that the reason African Americans are not doing as well, is because they, in general are being blacklisted by white racist businessmen. Like the ones who told there employees they could be laid off if President Barrack Obama was reelected.

The Republicans politicians did everything in there power to suppress the vote in 2012, it is they who are behaving like tyrants

At the very best the comments made by Republican Politicians make clear they are neurotic and completely irresponsible

All this is, is one theory of what the statistical analysis means.....

Take for example I present that the Russians are using gold to pay for oil the country imports. I also claim that this effort is meant to undermine the American dollar. I mean if person has 3 billion barrels of oil, it may be OK to pay them in American Dollars but, with respect to Russian Rubles? I mean for every American Dollar there are 30 Russian Rubles and that makes for a big difference in weight and the space it takes up. Which, makes transportation more difficult.

This thread is sadly an unfortunate effort to provide support to some pathetic agenda.

And a good reason for why that is true is the lack of effort, to offer that a statistical analysis cannot have multiple explanations.

Any thoughts?

I'll be the last one to defend the disproportionate ratio of black to white in relation to population that collect welfare.

When are white apologists going to wake up and realize that black welfare recipients scam the system? Don't you ever wonder why blacks who live in low income housing are able to afford Lexus or BMW? Why do they have $5000 dollar rims on their cars and a mouthful of gold?

Why can you drive down the projects in HipHopCultureIsGreatVille, USA and see BMW 5 series and Lexus model cars parked in front of 500 square foot.. homes?

If your first reaction is to read the above and regard it as a stereotype, then you are deluded.

My sister in law is in charge of child protective services and constantly tells stories of how these welfare recipients drive up in $50,000+ cars, wear tons of gold/platinum jewelry, have Gucci bags, and are asking for government hand outs to help pay for their kids.

Deluded liberals allow this.

Can't really blame the black race for it. They are either victims of slavery or victims of not getting enough from the government.

Oh dear god (hiding under the table, knees quivering)

They will come now son, they will come and call you a racist.

How dare you?

And thanks for nailing the subject matter, but you will pay a price for your honesty I'm afraid.

I always wondered myself, how welfare supported such expensive hair extensions, long fingernails, the BMW's you describe and all the bling bling.

Oh well, good to see our $ going someplace.

Does Barry Obona know what is going on? does he know about this misfortune?

Can he do more to help? or less?

You and your new friend have no place speaking on these things, because you just don't have a clue as to how things actually are. It's as simple as that. Keep believing that your keyhole perspective is "the hard to swallow truth" and it's because of your indisputable facts and higher understanding that we're forced to "resorting to crying racism". Every one of your posts has shown your lack of perspective and the unfounded hatred and bigotry that you feel inside, to the point where I find it hard to believe that you don't openly admit to yourself at least that you're simply a racist. You really, really do not know anything about these issues, and you show your ignorance and true feelings with each of your posts. I'm surprised you haven't been reprimanded yet for the insulting and demeaning tone dripping in blanket statement after blanket statement that you've made. Save your true feelings of hatred for your buddies that share your sentiments of vile racism. It is what it is and I'm calling it out and you are what you are. You're sickeningly stupid.

OK, So the Black community, at least a large portion of the Black Community voter for Obama, True?
It would seem they got Shafted by Obama in a way, thinking they would improve their standard of living by electing Obama.
I believe this is a large part of your argument.
I could be mistaken, I often have to read and think in Chinese before I understand the English meaning.

Hmmmmm, I don't know for sure, but I think a lot of people, mostly poor and middle class of all races have been Adversely effected by Obama's administration.
But, from this article I found, I don't believe things will be getting better. Obama has a Very Strange Thinking Process, the people he surrounds him self with are not there to look out for the little people like many believe, they are out for themselves and to further their agendas and their names.

I would be very worried about this if it is True.

Barack Obama met with Al Sharpton and other "African American leaders" to discuss the president's "plan to strengthen the economy for the middle class and continue to build ladders of opportunity for those striving to get there," according to the White House.

Among the attendees were the Rev. Al Sharpton, NAACP president Ben Jealous, and Avis Jones-DeWeever, executive director of the National Council of Negro Women.

Now do any of you truly believe these people represent the Poor and Downtrodden Masses in America and I mean All the Peoples, not a Chosen Few.

Participants: • Melanie Campbell, President, National Coalition of Black Civic Participation • Ralph Everett, President, Joint Center for Economic and Political Studies • Wade Henderson, President, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights • Ben Jealous, President, National Association of the Advancement of Colored People • Avis Jones-DeWeever, Executive Director, National Council of Negro Women • Sharon J. Lettman-Hicks, Executive Director, National Black Justice Coalition • Al Sharpton, Founder and President of National Action Network • Rev Derrick Harkins, 19th Street Baptist Church • Judith Browne Dianis, Co-Director, Advancement Project

Generally speaking, when a society decides to blame 13.9 percent of its population (for whatever reason) for its problems, that is considered racism.

Wait, what?!

How did you miss the 487,987 articles immediately after the election condemning and damning, pointing at and ridiculing, educating and deriding the GOP because they did NOT pander to races such as blacks and hispanics?!

For at least a month solid, at least 3 or 4 articles a DAY came out about how the Republicans are the "White Party of Old Men" and they are nothing but failures because they didn't "connect" to blacks and hispanics.

Race, and FREE STUFF has been bleated from every Democrat hilltop as a defense, whilst on the other side, race and Santa Clause has been bleated from every Republican hilltop. Why, now, are Republicans "rethinking" their strategies and "outreach" programs to racial groups?

Why were Republicans the first ones out of the gate on Immigration reform?

They got it pounded into their heads post election that Romney lost because he locked out the 47%. You remember that, right? The "low information" voters?

I don't believe that ANY person could utter the words "race isn't as much a factor as it used to be" and expect to be taken seriously.

It is all about race, race wars, and racial division, and anyone that has paid the slightest bit of attention the past 4 years is able to see it. Especially the past 2.
