Thunder Snow?

Cool name for a rock band.

Down here in N.Texas, just a bunch of rain.
Good Luck with the Thunder Snow.

I don't know if you meant that to be funny, but it is.

Yea.I figured thats what you meant.
Just having a little fun on a cold, dreary morn.
Actually, isn't it unusual to have thunder and snow together?
I have witnessed it once or twice, thats all.But then we don't see alot of snow down here.
Maybe one of our in-house experts could chime in?

Also, I remember as a kid my grandfather would say
that thunder in the winter means very cold is coming.

And we ain't seen nuthin' yet!!
Yeah, thunder snow is awesome. In my entire half-century of life, I've only seen/heard it about 5 times.
We're all socked in, and I'm about to go make a big pot of chili...

the cat keeps looking outside, then at us as if to say, "Why do you keep doing this? Make it stop!"...
I'm just sure he thinks we cause it

what a mess. husband hit Lowe's at 6am and bought their last electric chain saw (we have lots of timber, and several big logs lying in the yard...)
fireplace is loaded and ready to start -
and a brand new pretty yellow SNOW SHOVEL with ergonomic design for less fatigue. What was it, two weeks ago was 73 degrees out??

I used to live in Summit County, Colorado - Breckenridge/Keystone(/Frisco/Silverthorne/Dillon) - and this was a typical sort of snow day. But here, it shuts things down. SNOW DAY!!!!!!!!!!

STAY SAFE! If our power goes out, well, I'm in here with ya, goou!!

How many of us ARE here in KC??

Yeah, cats are funny, but you can bet he/she'll hold it against you if you don't make it stop.

Okay okay! I just snapped a few - even stepped out the front door to take one!!
I'll get them uploaded here in a few.

(I'm about 20 miles north of Overland Park...we're supposed to get hit the hardest (north of I-70), but OP is getting slammed, too - the entire metro!

heh heh....
P.S. by "OP" in my last post, I meant Overland Park, not Original Poster, but, he's the OP and is also in OP.... local jargon.

See guys, WE DO HAVE LOTS of TREES HERE!! It's actually one of the "Tree Cities" of signage fame...And it's very hilly up where I live!!!
