It irks me when an introductory handshake's grip is far too strong.
I know that a firm handshake is good, but some people have the insane notion that a vice like grip asserts dominance, and that if you crush their hand
you've somehow proven you're physically superior, even though it shouldn't even be an issue,because it's just a handshake.
I've been on the receiving end of these handshakes, and personally I'd love to grab these peoples hand, pull them towards me and give them a good
old Glasgow kiss. But that's not good social etiquette.
Overcompensating annoys me too. Constant tales of bedroom conquests or brawling especially. I don't believe them, IMO these people can project their
inadequacies on someone who is more easily impressed.
