Surely a hoax. Thus why I posted it here. It was linked on my FB by a friends' group. It's a Huff. Post article. I can't find it on any 'decent' source site.

Hmmm it seems they use the silica to coat the cells, making a copy, and than they can destroy the organic original cell with heat leaving the working Silica shell in its place.

Why do you say its a hoax?

I say 'hoax' because of what sites come up reporting this in a google search.

Who knows, maybe it's true. It's disturbing, if so. Paranoia? Probably...but still!
