My thoughts are that this is not funny in any way and the guy is a douche. Flushing live fish into the waste of a septic tank or sewer, on purpose, is simply cruel.

Edit to add: It speaks volumes about him also that all he cares about is what they cost, not that they are live animals.

Wow, not only did his ill-conceived joke fail utterly, but then he wasted living creatures so that he didn't have to take any responsibility at all.

This is why when I hear people claim that God loves everyone it makes me want to barf.
