Marines In Afghanistan Spending All Their Savings On Zombie Apocalypse

HELMAND PROVINCE, AFGHANISTAN - The Marines of Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Marines, deployed out of Camp Pendleton, CA are no strangers to conflict. During the last four months this group of hardened warriors has been engaged in savage combat with the Taliban for control of the Sangin region, critical to both sides in what have become the final years of the US war in Afghanistan. All Marines, from the newest boot private to the grizzled gunnery sergeants, have become proficient in the art of killing.

Unfortunately, these same highly trained veterans have begun to devote a larger and larger portion of their personal funds towards planning for a very slight possibility: the Zombie Apocalypse.

Many believe that some time in the near future, the undead will walk the earth as reanimated corpses, plunging the world into a state of anarchy and bloodshed where only the strong will prevail.

Here is a glimpse into something I doubt many here have heard of. I dunno my fellow Salty Devil Dogs, Shock and Awe wont break the will of the undead, nor will massive amounts of flesh wounds either. They wont rest, wont stop for food, they wont stop for their fallen and they don't need latrines...

You know, sometimes you read the most interesting things in blogs. Here we have a story that seems to be right out of the upcoming movie.

So in other words some sort of biological warfare will be used and the Marines having the inside know this # could go very very bad...study up on your Walking Dead folks...could be a rough one

Is this stuff for real. This is like the 15th time in the last year that I have heard of government, military, and law enforcement agencies preparing for a zombie apocalypse. These people need to either grow up and stop watching zombie flicks or produce some type of paper work stating why they are wasting tax payer dollars on these foolish training exercises.

IMO , Zombies are the numb people who are tired of the soulless and same way of living everyday.

Even any kinds of change can not bring a solution for Materialism.

IMO , the brains of materialism have thought of a way to keep people afraid of outside of materialism. It should be grave yard outside materialism. So , no one would think of a way to scape it.

If you look at the movies like resident evil , you can see that zombies live in developed countries like US and Japan.

When a place for religion is not filled , superstition will take over.

That was my general comment on zombies.

but about this specific topic , I think that those army leaders are thinking of a way to justify and continue the war which was based on lies. Maybe they can do it by bringing some fun for the soldiers.

They think that they are playing an horror game and nothing is real.

Not to belittle the sheer awesomeness of zombies, but if you prep for a zombie apocalypse, then you're basically prepared for anything.

Not to belittle the sheer awesomeness of zombies, but if you prep for a zombie apocalypse, then you're basically prepared for anything.

Yep, that's why I use a "zombie apocalypse" as my prep justification, only to get a chuckle. Really, my prep is for any SHTF event.

A zombie is a progressive socialist who are now actively seeking to disrupt our traditions and faith without purpose or gain accept to a fictional element called political parties.
A vampire are the other side of the coin the illumunauti who are the puppet masters.
At least to us combat boys who use guns anyway.
These are far more dangerous than animated dead.

I seen that cover but never watched it almost afraid to because 99.9% zombies movies are dumb there are a few rare gems tho.

World War z looks like it might be good taking zombies to a whole new level climbing walls, over turning greyhounds.

We're always trained and ready to fight the previous war. In an actual ZA, the military would likely be very ineffective. Most military weapons are precision weapons. They take out relatively small targets while scaring the crap out of the enemies that still remain. Zombies don't care if you just dropped their friend who was right beside them. You're not going to cramp their morale.

Also, as everyone knows, you need a clean shot to the head to take down a biter. Years of marksman training has taught all of the world's soldiers to aim for the torso, the biggest target to hit.

Your best bet is to get pretty good with a spear.
