Is there any tuneable parameter in a persons profile that will allow the 'show ribbon' bar to be 'always on top' ? If not, may I please propose that a 'switch' be added to the ribbon bar itself? I would so luv that ! : )

You might try looking into Greasemonkey and write a small script for your browser so it will always be triggered upon opening the site.

I want the opposite. I never use it and it gets in the way of things... such an obnoxious obstacle to move around when hitting reply or when ats live is on. which is groovy if someone is interested.

no way to turn it off, cbf writing a script to fix it either.
