Looking at the footage, it's hard to imagine there not being any fatalities, because of it occurring right around dinner time. But I'm hoping the reports are true of the strong gas smell, and maybe everyone was on the way out fairly quickly.

Fire officials told NBC News that a secondary explosion occurred shortly afterward. They had no further details. Buses were sent to evacuate residents of a nearby residential and apartment complex.

"Get out! You are not safe right here! Please!" rescue crews could be heard urging people who were trying to get a look at the scene.

Its true... I live nearby KC and its all over the news. The plaza is a beautiful upscale area and its a shame that something like this happened

I hope there aren't any life-threatening injuries.
