Man with down syndrome dies while handcuffed by police.

I saw this article early this morning (but did not post it)...and it saddened me to see another life taken so that the police can prove how manly they are as they punish anyone who shows a lack of respect for their authority. Dont they know that if they put their knees on the back of someone in breathing distress that they can possibly die? I have even seen reports of people restrained in the back of police cars complaining of inability to breathe which fell on deaf ears and they subsequently died in their custody. Sad.
