I do completely agree TPTB are evil and agenda driven, but as memory serves: Iraq, with the 4th largest army invaded Kuwait, raped, killed, burned and attempted annexation of this small country. After the many countries military ran them back north, the UN set santions (17 times I believe) to no avail. he kicked out inspectors time and again while gassing and murdering the Kurds in northern iraq (mustard gas is a WMD listed agent) Truck after truck was reported scrambeling to Syria, and whatever secret cargo was in them was theorized Russian made( maybe vodka) As the powers that did not complete the defeat of the hussien government after desert storm, instead of wiping out the complete structure and triggering a vacuum of power for Iran to take, it was clear to most that he had to go. The iraq war was a legal and congress approved war, Intel or not, we were justified in the act for what he did and his actions after the retreat. Rumsfeld, and the helmsmen had their issues, and I will not justify any of that, But the war basically was a finishing of a job where every benefit of the doubt was completely exhausted.

Well that really explains a lot about Colin Powell. I really liked him. He has a conscious. He went along with it though. So sad. Sure there's probably more, but that's enough.

Colin Powell jumped from supporting one warmongering admin to the next. He is concerned with who is in power, and I guess Obama's ummmmm ethnicity is a big plus.

How else would one explain his behavior? How else would you explain his defense of the WMD declaration of Bush and then running to the Obama admin and supporting bombing Libya without Congressional approval? He comes off as a person who supports illicit govt activity with wars.

I have plenty of clues, but you don't. Empire building on earth is becoming dangerous and futile. We invaded iraq and afghanistan and the american people got nothing in return. Gas prices tripled within 15 years when they were supposed to drop to $20 a barrel.

I also know we have been running trade deficits with china, malaysia, taiwan, korea, india for 2 decades now with no signs of hope. The government has sold out lock, stock and barrel to wall street speculators who in turn get inside trader information and make record profits on the backs of the gullible public.

The petro dollar is absolute bs! You don't make your economy strong by spending into oblivion for military campaigns and giving trillions in bailouts to business who offshore like crazy. You impose protectionist measures so you can collect the taxes that should be collected and people can be fully employed.
