Look into the vatican and the jesuits r.e. JFK - seems he says it himself, in many speeches.

Strange, because back then, people were afraid that electing a catholic would mean the vatican/jesuits would be in control.

It's a neat subject for anybody who wants to go down that rabbit hole. I searched on here and it seems like it's already made its course and further discussion just seems to piss people off. After 50 years, I suppose every angle has been looked at. Maybe just not recognized. I think that era was an age of both enlightenment as well as a trip into darkness and disinformation, and for a lot of people in the US, it meant the end of innocence because they really didn't know what was going on in the wizard's booth behind the curtain.

Does it matter if a poster is just a pro-NWO type sitting at home vs a paid disinfo specialist sitting in a government office?

Just keepin' it real, folks.

Exactly.

This topic gets too much press IMO.

That happens all the time in all kinds of discussions in all kind of fora.

Not evidence of "plants."

But its not not evidence of plants.

It appears what I originally ended with was censored, so how about "get the heck outta town." I think the original four letter acronym better summarized my disdain for this intellectual laziness, though.

if the government is actually paying someone to be a shill or disinfo agent, wouldn't you think it would be for sites that are alittle more... uhmm...."extreme" ?...even though there are some genuine scary nuts on this site, i have been to some others that make this site look like a mundane scholarly debate group. there are sites out there where all they talk about is a violent overthrow of the US government, or out and out killing people.

I'm not going to mention the site by name or go into the details but in real life through no fault of my own I became peripherally involved in the neo-Nazi Bill White (William A. White) saga. I wound up calling the justice department and the FBI agent in charge of his case who all spoke to me very candidly and at length about their frustrations in failing to stop this guy's activities on the internet and elsewhere. What appeared to be a lot of time and resources eventually went into prosecuting White (who for all practical purposes threatened federal jurors) with limited success. This completely changed my paranoia about the effective involvement of the federal government in online activities.

Sure. Sure..

If it wasn't for the shills, why this place would be crawling with people screaming about the NWO. And the neocon globalist agenda.

Why if it weren't for the shills on ATS, the whole would would have changed by now. I know I see people who are about to start a revolt, read someone post about something here and it's as if they've been silenced.

It's uncanny.

Boy, how can those government agents sleep at night knowing they can stop the people dead in their tracks with a single post on ATS.

It's almost as if they have some sort of super power to make people do their bidding...

OMG, Do you think they are using microwave ovens to send messages to people? Making them hear voices? I heard someone say it on here, but then someone posted in their thread and they were shut right down.

Its scary.

What?

A discussion breaks down into a flame war.

You said that is not always evidence of plants.

I say, that isn't evidence there are never plants.

Are we on the same page?

hot tip ...

don't use the word 'logic'

that alone will out you.

There's some things that a select few people have mastered that the average internet-arguer hasn't.

You mean something like critical thought?
You mean something like actually researching a claim?

I concur. Paid posters can typically be observed in 911, Chemtrail, and now Sandy Hook threads.

I am not naming names. Just look at who posts, what they post, why they say the same thing over again, and why they don't post in other forums? Very interesting. And, they are so poorly trained. The training was pretty good, as were the candidates in the early days. Now, they get people with no world view or understanding of basic psychology.

You are correct.
In fact one of those guys actually outed himself in a post.
He went into detail on how the operation worked and whatnot.

Also every month or so we get someone coming on to talk about BRICs nations.

Im not sure why "they" would waste there time really, most discussions on here end up as petty arguments about nothing.

Yes they do... I wonder why? Is it that the worlds most immature, uncivil people all happen to be at one website all at the same time? Not likely...

No, they do not do background checks here... I wonder why? No I'm just kidding that would be rediculous... Although it is interesting to note that there is no way to tell if someone has multiple accounts using multiple IP addresses and emails etc.

Without going into detail - that is not correct. There are actually ways of pinning these things down and, as a staff, we have some people who are very, very talented at doing so. Such things can take time, and we may not catch everyone who is playing games... but we do catch our fair share.

Yes, one weapon we have is that every members posts are listed right in their profile. You can get a good idea of what kind of person they are

true

a good way to see this is to go to a poster's members profile and look up some of the posts and or threads they have made.

they will often post consistent negative replies on several areas of the forum, and maybe have one area like music or something that they express an intrest in.

also look at their threads started (if they even have any
)
they will either be STUPID,
or they will be RIDICULOUSLY STUPID, unless they are in their lone area of intrest.

seriusly, do that. you'll see the funniest threads imagineable.
i'd link you to some but, well,
, that and t&c.

you know, we haven't touched on the subject of 'sock puppets' yet.

maybe we should just keep mum about that!

I do think this occurs quite often. I also think that some accounts are being used by more than one person. You can notice differences in their writing style and the time of day they post.

Certain topics have members who appear almost instantly in a new thread. Always to debunk or derail the topic and it doesn't matter what time it is. It's like they have a system to alert them whenever a new thread is posted on that topic.

These members claim to be professionals in certain fields of employment. Yet they are always instantly available to respond when a new thread is posted. There are quite a few reasons I think it is fair to be suspicious of these members being part of some kind of organized team.
