I have a daughter who is in the 4th grade and this is something I worry about every day. I worry less about a gunman entering and shooting than I do about what psychological effect is taking place on a daily basis. I have to warn her not to say anything negative about the government or to draw pictures of weapons. What is this doing to her? She is growing up knowing that what she says may bring harm to her. Free speech is gone. All the other freedoms will follow on the same path.

How could all of this have come to pass you wonder? Well, its time to stop wondering - stop sniveling and crying about it because its YOU collectively who is at fault. You are responsible for your own misery. You squandered your inheritance. You didn't appreciate your freedom, because you refused to acknowledge the source of those liberties, which are not political, economic, geographic, or any other earthbound thing - they are spiritual. Spiritual things in the bosom of an atheist are wasted. At the above, well the media and politicians are doing that, quite obviously.

So to summarize and see where we are at in this point in time, we have numerous kids describing (or specifically mentioning) a drill, and none describing a massacre.

Furthermore, Connecticut has failed again in releasing a report.
I'm not surprised one bit by this, and suspect they are still focusing most resources on damage control at this point.

I seems to me very coincidental that Sandy Hook occured immediately after the Presidential election but with enough time before the midterms to allow legislation to be attempted on gun control.

It couldn't have been timed better if Adam Lanza had been a political operative.
