Really? more of this nonsense?
The crap i'm seeing in here is wrong on so many levels.....where do i begin?
1 - HDDs that are SO damaged that data recovery can only be accomplished by DOD....
this is bulls**t for a number of reasons...the first of which is the fact that HDDs are VERY robust, and VERY hard to damage with anything short of a
pick axe, sledgehammer, or a small explosive of some sort.....secondly, any tech competent in computer forensics could get data off a damaged drive,
and could reconstruct damaged data with off the shelf software that any state lab should have....this is just over-dramatized nonsense, to fool people
who know nothing about such things into thinking that lanza was some kind of devious criminal genius...a homicidal mastermind, rather than a guy who
was on psychiatric drugs, that caused a psychotic break...and even that is speculative, because the official report from the state police has not yet
been released.
2 - Allegations of unrestricted access to firearms, for the alleged shooter
This is also VERY hard to believe...a "law enforcement source familiar with the investigation"..could they possibly be any more vague?....i sense
something here was made up...OH! that's it..make some bulls**t up, say a "law enforcement source familiar with the investigation" said it, and nobody
will question it.... How would this anonymous law enforcement insider know that this was the case? are they in some way related to the family, were
they in a relationship with Nancy Lanza? ....if not, then i doubt they would have any way of knowing that this was the case....more speculation...
and so what if he had access to arms? in america we have that right..unless he has proven himself a danger to those around him, there is no reason to
restrict one's access to arms....this is just more nonsense to further demonize access to "omg scary black guns", that are functionally identical to
their non-scary wood furnished counterparts...don't buy into the hype...
Because i just HAFTA quote this whole thing again for it's stupidity value..
3 - in addition to the high-powered rifle that Lanza wielded to blast his way into the school, the two handguns he was carrying and a shotgun police
found in the trunk of the car he drove, there was one other weapon in the Lanza house -- an "old Springfield rifle" -- one of the law enforcement
sources told Hearst Connecticut Newspapers.
High powered rifle?....don't make me laugh.... a 30-06 that you would use to hunt deer is a more powerful round...a rifled slug from a shotgun is a
more powerful round....the 5.56/.233 in the bushmaster is a 22 on steroids....the 5.56, which is the military version of the round, it is simply a
more powerful powder load, for greater muzzle velocity...this round is classified as an "intermediate power cartridge" by both the U.S. military, and
i believe NATO, as well...calling the bushmaster a "high-powered rifle" is hyperbole, and shows a great ignorance on the part of the author, and
anyone who would quote it as a factual statement.. Then there's this gem about how he used the bushmaster in the school, and left the shotgun in the
trunk, which we know is a falsehood, because we saw the footage of them removing BOTH the "bushmaster" AR-15, AND the saiga-12 shotgun from the trunk
of the car...that says to anyone with half a brain, that really, neither of them could have been used in the shooting....again, more bulls**t to
demonize the "scary black guns". and who cares what other guns were in the house? unless they were used, there's no point in mentioning them...
4 - "Just up dating some important information for people one here to clear up what was speculated."
So you aim to clear up speculation with MORE speculation?...using an article, or articles loaded with speculative crap, half truths, disinformation,
and sensationalist bulls**t language? I applaud your apparent desire to do the right thing here, but either you really think this crap is true, or
you're here to deliberately misinform us....
