i did a really stupid thing yesterday....
i uninstalled the sound program from my laptop by accident. i think it was named 'sigmatel audio'
now ive no sound at all.
the system restore was off. my laptop is second hand, its a dell inspiron 9400.
can someone please help me here. im totally computer illiterate, i only use it for playing poker on and browsing a few websites.
can you tell me in the simplest of terms what to do.

Go to dell.com/support driver downloads, look for your model and download any sound drivers and or software..then install them
