So... let me ask you this... what if the inmate who killed this child killer, actually also a child killer and killed your daughter?

Well, lemme think about that just a minute...

It says they KILLED him, not that they invited him to their cell for a friendly game of bridge. My gut is saying "NOT birds of a feather".

He was already being punished. He was in jail for 23 years, right? I mean, we have a justice system that dishes out punishment accordingly, at least accordingly to the particular legal system in question (depends on the state in question).

And considering that this was the sort of environment he was placed in, I doubt he had a very easy time staying healthy and safe day to day.

Nobody but you gives a damn if he had an easy time or if the puke was healthy and safe day to day. Yeah we got a system, a flawed system where people who think like you have perverted the sentencing process with your bleeding heart, feel good, pacifist high and mighty ideals.

23 years? It should be mandatory death or atleast life in prison without the possibility of parole for torturing and murdering a child. I bet you even believe life in prison would have been too harsh of a sentence for this maggot eh? ~$heopleNation

Sorry, it's just an unwritten law of sorts in the criminal world, inmates who harm children are targeted. That may bum people like yourself out, who inevitably shout down from your moral high ground and quite honestly protest a little too much in favor of child predators, but most of us are just fine with it. He had his day in court, and was found guilty and sent to prison, where actual justice was carried out. If you don't want to be a target in prison, don't harm children. Simple.

The punishment he received didn't fit the crime. Why does he get to live, when he deprived a small, defenseless child a life of her own. His fellow inmates gave him what he really deserved.

I wouldn't be surprised if those inmates were already serving life sentences; decided to do some "good" and take this guy out.

Really? Do you know what this guy has done? This guy should have been put to death as soon as he was arrested. You take a life you should give a life up. with out the cost of my money keeping this dude in good health.

All child rapists/murderers should be executed end of story. There is no room in society for people like that.

There are some prime examples in this thread of why in some industrialized civilizations, many horrific kind of crimes are on the rise. We have too many folks that want to hug, and play patsy with the worst kind of human beings. Most of these types of criminals we are not able to rehabilitate. But because some limp wrist little snot thinks their life is valuable, they get out in 23 years. There would be a difference if there was any sort of doubt as to what this fellow did, but from the case, he admitted to it.

Hey! I wonder where all the baby raper defenders of this thread have gone? One has to wonder what hole in the ground those bottomfeeding maggots slithered off into in order to hide their shame?

Hopefully, every single one of them went and jumped head first off the nearest bridge, or atleast turned themselves into the nearest mental health facility so they can not only be treated, but that the public can be protected from their mentally unstable ways of thinking.

These people, and the way that they think, are a big part of the problem. ~$heopleNation

Personally, I don't like the thought of anyone's life being ended, especially with how mistakes can be made, and or corruption can come into play. But I know I don't live in a perfect world, hence we don't have perfect solutions. Realistically, this particular guy should not have been allowed to get out in 23 years. However, his sentence was the law carried out, however flawed it is. So the murderers of the child killer should be tried accordingly.

That being said, no one should mourn this fellow, and no one should jump on someone for feeling relief that he will never hurt another child again. Sometimes these things work themselves out in the end via karma. Either way, society dodged a bomb with a 23 year fuse.

Yes and at the same time after my rant, I am not blind enough to not understand your point as well my friend.

Our system is far from perfect, so mistakes can be made which are unforgivable when it comes to an innocent human being being locked up or killed.

However, with technology today, whether it's DNA or being caught on camera, I believe those mistakes of the past will be corrected. When there is no doubt whatsoever, Child killers should be eradicated from this planet.

I do think of movies like Ben Hur, or The Count of Monte Crisco, where innocent Men were condemned to a life of misery, slave labor, and prison. Yes I know, they are just films, but they really made one, or atleast me, think about the historical corruption that has occured over the centuries and just how many of our innocent brothers and Sisters that have been executed for something that another puke bag had done .

Like I said before, Nothing worse than an innocent human being being executed or locked up for life. What a crazy world we all live in? We just need to make sure we strain out the bad from the good. Not sure about the solution to that other than using advanced technology.

Wish I had all the answers. At the end of the day, I just want the truly guilty to suffer, and the innocent protected and defended. ~$heopleNation

Says you.

If ever any kind of person fit the bill, it's scum like this.

That's not tough guy talk or 'bloodlust'. It's legit.

What if the inmates are child rapists? murderers themselves?

Lot of hatred and blood lust. Not that i actually care for the dead guy.

Why does that surprise you? Nobody likes a child killer. Not even other types of killers. There is usually a distinction, a line that most won't cross.

Don't forget about the kid being tortured for a month prior to being killed part...

"probably gang related" nice cop out there.... how do you know the vigilantes are not child rapists themselves, They were in the same prison as the child this child killers...

in fact, child rapist disgust me more than child killers.

Child living/growing up with trauma and unable to socially connect with people, worse case, become a child molester themselves.

My guess is that if they were child abusers/killers themselves odds are they would have beaten him in the race to hell (literally).

The scum got the justice he should have gotten in the first place. I will shed no tears and will not mourn the loss of one such as he. Death penalties were made for people like him, just a shame that the system doesn't realize the fact. Vengeance may not bring the little girl back to life, but neither will a joke of a sentence, being coddled in prison and living at societies expense. To hell with him, he got what he deserved, if it were my daughter I'd p**s on his grave after he was buried and probably wipe my arse with a sympathy card to leave on his headstone.

Mhm. Your bloodlust solves what exactly?

Bloodlust? All humans should have hatred for those who have inflicted only pain and suffering to the world. If Qin Kuai or Wang Jingwei were still here, I'd happily see them die the slowest and most painful death known to the world. If I ever come across their corpses, I'd make a makeshift weapon and crumble every bone in their body to dust.

Not everyone deserves to live in this world.

If there were no laws and I were the judge, I'd shorten the sentences of the two prisoners who 'murdered' him. They had done a truly heroic and righteous deed.

Interesting that this is such an emotive topic.

Personally my blood pressure is heightened at reading the vitriol of most posters.

I am a firm believer in capital punishment for most deaths including manslaughter, however, I really get annoyed when people called these murderers evil etc.

They are just humans, and had problems. This guy had problems. First being that he was responsible for a child at far too young an age. He couldnt handle that and found himself feeling anger and angst such that in his mind he carried out abuse, with the knowledge of his wife/partner that resulted in the childs death. the injuries took a long while to result in death, because he wasnt trying to kill the child. He was doing something else. But he wasnt sexually molesting the child or consiously torturing it, he was getting frustrated and irate. He didnt know his own strength and nor did he understand the childs frailty. He must have found himself time and time again finding himself needing to punish his child and he probably verbally justified it to his wife - see how he cries all the time, i have to punish him, its driving me mad.

Now, I dont have a problem with the death sentence for his crime, but he is not inherently evil. Many people feel such things, he just didnt have the sense or self control to resist a very natural human responce. Cooped up in whatever social prison he found himself in he just took out his immediate life angst on what was before him.

But my real point here is the myth the child killers are targetted in jail. Thats actually pretty frustrating. I think that you'll find that most killers dont really care. Wakefield is full of child killers. Most people get on fairly well, even if they are all concerned for their life.

I think what you'll find is that he somehow rubbed people the wrong way. He was Asian I think, so that might have contributed. Or maybe he just stared at someone the wrong way. Maybe the killers wanted the noteriety? either way, I think you'll find the child killer angle is just a convenient excuse for cold blooded killers to use to justify doing what they felt like doing.

One of the reasons that child killers get picked on in jail is that they are generally by default the same people that would get picked on by strong bullies outside in the real world regardless. They are generally weak, and they are generally killed by people that are orinarily aggressive and violent.

Also, another reason they get targetted is the same reason that homosexuals get targetted. Violent thugs are Not that this guy was homosexual, but the whole issue of sexuality is itself a factor in causing conflict.

To end. I mean, you say that he and people like him get what they deserve, and deserve pain and suffering is mindless. They are all humans, and they make choices that are logical and reasonable, in some regards, to themselves. The sentence they recieve is justice. Your moral opinion counts for nothing. If you feel strongly then you should change society. The only thing stopping us all from killing is a complicit agreement between ourselves via the mechanics of society that we will take away liberty in some fashion from people that carry out these acts. Thats all there is. To deny understanding of what they do is to deny the natural bounds of humanity. Cat and dogs will savage each other. They are animals. Humans are not as different.

Im not defending him, im just critical against

1) the ignorant malice against murderers - every murderer had a reason, shaped by their immediate mental environment, and many of them actually feel justified in doing what they do.

2) the idea that other murderers are upstanding and will taget child killers as the scum they are.

Are you for real.

He tortured the child over a period of a month. He inflicted 107 separate injuries. Her arms and legs were broken. Note the plural. The girl had been battered with a pole. She had been put in a tumble drier. She died after fat deposits from her broken bones got into her bloodstream.
