Hello. I was just perusing this thread and have been enjoying the short stories. I thought I would try my hand. Write something that has use of prose and analogies. I know I'm not that good of a writer, but I thought I'd give it a go. So here is humble (and probably not so good) submission:

Hi guys could someone help me out or point me to the right place. Search has changed for me and and gone all weird I can only get web results.

I am new to the writing thing on here and would like to be able to put readable text and a link in my sig, but as you can see in my current sig I haven't been able to increase the text size above the microscopic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove the space between the [ and the u at the start, and copy and paste that into your signature box and it should give you the full size link, which looks the same as the link at the top of my sig bar.

Loving the submissions guys, keep them coming

I haven’t written for many years. For some reason, the submissions in this contest inspired me to have a go at it again. I don’t fancy myself to be a writer, but it felt good to blow the dust off the old noggin and get the juices flowing again. I had all but forgotten how challenging writing can be and how difficult it is to find the right words to tell a story. Thanks ATS!

I set a deadline for myself to complete a story by 10PM this evening (my local time) and submit it regardless of its status, otherwise I felt I would keep tweaking it here and there and generally over think it. The story is a bit longer than most of the entries thus far, and writing it today has given me a sizable headache.

Wow are there normally this many entries? Can we have a reading extension? I really want to be able to read all the stories before the deadline but there's absolutely no chance of that at the moment.
