Nope, the Super bowl and WWF wrestling fill that role for the Post-Modern day sheeple on the go. Blood can be CGIed or faked and put on a HBO or AMC series if the masses are hungry for it. McDondalds and TacoBell have the bread though for 0.99 cent.
