I don't know how well this will be received but we could use a Herman award. After reading the political and religious forums we sure could use:

would we do an "in memoriam" for the ones that got banned and are no longer with us? Like the actors that passed away that year or something?

With all due respect, OP, I once started a thread on the best and worst of 2012 (ATS)

It was taken down and I was beaten with bamboo sticks by an angry hoard of mods because it might provoke feelings of envy, jealousy, etc. among members who don't get nominated.

All that being said, I think the Tinny for Best Musical Thread should go to. . . .

So many good ideas!

Yes we need a best troll award too. And best ass kisser award. Best wannabe mod award. Can't just have awards for good things.
