Vatican Can Take Credit Cards Again

money.cnn.com

The Vatican has sidestepped EU banking rules by turning to a Swiss company to restore card payments in its museums after they were suspended over concerns that the city-state was not doing enough to prevent money laundering.

Pope Benedict To Resign At The End Of Februrary

In early January, The Vatican was suspended from making cash withdrawls,
and also was suspended its electronic credit transacitons, Visa, MC.

So today its announced on CNN The Vatican has transferred transactions to a
Swiss Bank, and is back in action? They have been implicated in money laundering
so the E.U banks suspeded the account, but now The Swiss have opened an account
with them. The timing seems odd, almost suspect.

In a statement explaining its decision last month, it said EU law prevented EU banks from operating in non-EU states unless they had an adequate supervisory system or were deemed "equivalent" for anti-money laundering purposes. The Vatican failed on both counts, it said

Cant help but wonder if Pope Benedict's resignation
has something to do with this. I have read many rumors,
yet refrain from posting them as waiting for a reliable source.

Yet some puzzle peices, the article from Bloomberg yesterday made no mention
of a fix, only mentioned the betting odds (bookmakers ...ie bookies)
on Cardinals Francis Arinze of Nigeria, Peter Turkson of Ghana, and Marc Ouellet of Canada

I think it's hilarious the Vatican is accused of money laundering. Between laundering money & child molestation it's as if they are doing everything they can to ruin Catholism.

Honestly, its a bit curious...is it not? And the timing, well lets trace this back...
The butler was leaking stuff, they got rid of him and he was pardoned by the Pope,
yet the leaks continued. So then the bank of Italy placed Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, under investigation
for alleged money laundering and later seized €23 million from an account registered to the bank.
Tedeschi was fired last May, and the Vatican last fall hired Rene Bruelhart, a Swiss lawyer, as a
consultant on financial crime issues.

So I guess I can see the move to the Swiss Bank in the making, however I wonder what took
so long, and seems fishy its corrected after Benedict resigns.

I also cant help but wonder about the prophectic implications.

Is there something shady going down in the Vatican? When isn't something shady going down there? I'm sure pope Ben was old & sick but there's definitely more to his story then meets the eye but as with these scandals we'll be left in the dark & maybe years down the road some truth may come trickling out.

As far as prophecies go, I hope none of it is real and or comes true because I'm down with the anti Christ.

This goes all the way back to 2007 if I reacall...

The Vatican bank had failed to disclose information about banking operations as mandated
by Italy's 2007 law against money-laundering. It said a second unnamed official of the bank was
also under investigation.

Seems the only way to get money out of the hands of the Vatican, is for Jesus to come back.

Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.

Its too bad the Vatican doesn't understand the scriptures, and how much of a mockery they make of them......

Sonny,

The Vatican is The City on Seven Hills.
A state unto it's own answer, and they do control much of the technology
that is in our hands. I did not know this, was told by a long time member

National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC)

The National Technology Transfer Center (NTTC) has entered its 20th year of providing technology transfer services for federal facilities of our nation. Our work has provided clients with technical and market research expertise dedicated to meeting the complex needs of technology transfer organizations, while providing close support focusing on customer service. NTTC is inspired by the technologies developed at our federal R&D institutions, and is proud of our work commercializing and disseminating federal innovation for the betterment of our nation's economy.

Wheeling Jesuit University also receives annual grants from NASA. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but a public funded agency that claims to be having budget issues, funding programs of a church..

i am not making light of any vatica malfeasance - but WTF ?????

banning the use of credit card payments by entities in the papal state sounds to me like childish vindictivness

the vatical money laundering scams are reputedly runing into 100s of millions of dollars through international banks and shell corperations

how much turnover does the vatican actually make through point of sale transactions from visitors ??????? cannot be anything like enough to base a serious scam off - plus - their turnover should be pretty easy for financial experts to estimate which further narrows the scope for any usefull scam

On the surface, yes. However, its a really deep rabbit hole that leads one
on many different tunnels. They do all connect, its a tale of high treason,
mafia, illuminati and Nazi all mixed up.

Since Benedict is resigning ( an oddity in itself) many say that Cardinal Tarcisio Pietro Evasio Bertone
is the likely canditate. ( Not making a prediction here just passing on some facts)

Tarcisio was born in Romano Canavese, Piedmont.
Along with being the current secretary of state for the Vatican, he is European.
When Benedict XVI chose Bertone as Secretary of State, this was according to some,
stacking the deck.

Here is how; The Vatican's college of cardinals, which elects the new pope,
is dominated by cardinals from Europe, currently at 51%.
Europeans likely will vote for a European.

Pope Benedict XVI in November 2012, amidst criticism appointed six priests from
Non European countries, however in February 2012 he had already created 22 new
cardinals, including 16 Europeans, seven of whom were Italian...this still leaves
Europeans dominant, currently number over half of all cardinal-electors, 67 out of 125.
Nearly a quarter of all voters in the conclave will be Italian.
Source

One other item of interest, and intrigue. Bertone has been with Benedict, involved
with the leaks, * some of which claim that they together are continuing to
cover up the truth about The Third Secret of Fatima, in which supposedly
children saw a vision which included The Apocalypse and a great Apostasy.

Agian, not saying this makes it a sealed deal, if there is a cover up, and its
a really big deal, this could also be a reason Bertone might be elected, to carry
the secret. Another Source

www.fatimacrusader.com...

It is also said that Bertone is a Freemason, and has been photgraphed
making the classic Masonic handshake, and he was the center of controversy
over placing the The Nativity Scene in Nazareth, rather than Bethleham.

After Benedict corrected this amidst a fury, a broken column was left in
the Nativity, which some say is an Illuminati move.

freemasonry-watch.blogspot.com...

In any case, I doubt we will see the end of The Vatican corruption any time soon.

Stay tuned.

Agree.

The dirt is on the surface, but if we dig deeper I am sure the Vatican's "many" skeletons, would pop up to damn them all.

Such a dirty racket they run...........

BurntheShips : Please keep this coming.. There's something really bad coming our way.
I'v been wondering since the pope resigned about the st malachy prophecy. Something about the kingdom of 7 hills and that blood will flow from cardinals bishops and priests.
Could this mean blood as in figure of speech like something that would upset the people? And thus completing the prophecy?

Indeed Sonny,

It is really mind blowing when you start to read up on it, and it ties back into
the Nazi days, Gold, money laundering, Mafia and Freemasonry etc etc.
I think they just about have everyone beat in terms of corruption.
Fascinating how this is all covered up by the media,
one can find the stories but its quite a dig.

Thanks, well if I can find the time. I tell you it would be one massive thread,
and it would shake up a lot of people, including the Freemasons. ( and you know
what that starts
).

Yes, I do think we are in for some really interesting things to come, The Beast,
The Whore, The Antichrist....in Revelations its all painted out for those
who believe, its going to be wild and scary at the same time.

Also, we keep an eye on The Mark of The Beast, as its all part of the last days.

1.2 billion Catholics, give or take. The sheer amount of "donations", must be staggering........

And one is forced to believe stories like this?

VATICAN CITY — The Vatican has returned to profit after three years in the red but donations from the faithful fell nearly euro15 million ($22 million), or 18 percent, amid tough economic times and a year in which the priest sex abuse scandal exploded. The Vatican issued its annual financial report Saturday, saying it made a profit of euro9.85 million ($14.3 million) in 2010 following a loss of euro4.01 million ($5.8 million) a year earlier and losses in 2007 and 2008.

well most people think The Whore represents The Church, in her apostasy.
Remember, she is portrayed as drinking the blood of The Saints.

You may be interested in this thread I did a few years back, it really has some
invaluable information in it. There, I attempted to idenify the key players in the political
scene at the time.

Also, this thread was full of very detailed information on a lot of the corruption. Although,
it hardly scratches the surface.
