Okay, ATS. Help a sister out and recommend your favorite apps. I use a iPad, but feel free to recommend other platforms as well.

Favorite games..."Where's my Water?" and Pixellogic (across word puzzle using numbers to make pictures).

I love my Audible app and the Kindle download.

So....any recommendations?

Soundhound. Then Gtunes to find the song.

I also play Ingress, an arg, but you need to request a Beta Invite.

Opera and Dolphin for speedy fast mobile surfing.

There's Viz for downloading movies.

Have you ever tried 4pics1word? Simply addicting in your spare time.

And I can't forget Ringdroid. The best app ever for making your own alarms/ringtones.

Those are my staples. Unfortunately, they are Android based. YMMV finding them for Icrap.

Root Call Blocker Pro for Android. Requires root but well worth it, if you get pesky telemarketers, debt collectors, or survey calls all the time.

I like angry birds as a time waster, been playing the SW one though its a bit to monetized for my taste (COUGH jailbroken). Another one is A-max apocalypse max its a fun little zombie shooter side scrolling, has a cool weapon upgrade system.

I usally keep my ios devices to minimum apps, in the old days I would fill the thing up with apps but than I never used any of them so just decided to keep it simple.

I do have some like facebook, tapiture, tumblr on there with some netflix streaming or hbo go.

For a gadget app, with multiple cool uses/options, I always recommend the Tricorder app. It's based on the Star Trek gadget, but in a very real authentic scientific format. It has current Sun activity, emf detector, audio detector, wifi finder, etc.. There's lots of great little options, its just an awesome multi-tool, imo. And it has great sound effects.

I'm on lvl 68. My daughter is on lvl 180 sumtin. She asks for my help, and got me turned onto it. They are random somehow, and totally brainwracking. Some are easy peasy, and some, OMG!

Gotta love it.

Oh, and I forgot Stupid Zombies. Both the original, and Stupid Zombies 2. Talk about addictive Zombie shooting fun! Some of those levels will drive you insane, and you just resort to rapid fire, and wish for the best. Most levels I can get three stars though. Haven't solved either of those yet.....working on it.
