Ah.. I can't get that one to load.. I'm using Radio Reference and right now they are talking about the middle cabin with an open door.

damn, went to a different freq....they were giving positions away of swat, and were told to stop and go on a private freq.

Which scanner are you using? The one I'm using has 8-MTN-1 and 8-MTN-2 offline for "officer safety"

It's a police scanner iOS app, channel is "San Bernadino County System 6, 7, 8 - East Valley and SB Mtn Police Fire, EMS"

I think you could be right about the un verified sources thing. I don't know, but it was funny as hell. It's a wonder that doesn't happen more often.

Yeah some other people told me they couldn't either, I think so many people are on it that the servers are over loaded? Luckily I got on it the second I heard of this, and It hasn't stopped working for me.

i must have missed something. my bets were regarding him being killed there because it was said he fled in a car. is that no longer the case? the other bet was that he was found by drones but they say it was a ranger.

someone update me some more. im listening.. is he still there did he not leave? do you think he as that house rigged to blow like in "Roadwork?" Also.. what was that prank about.. it was weird.

I haven't heard anything about hostages. I'm sure the media would be talking about it if they suspected he had hostages.

They just told all officers to NOT fire on the house.

He's going to end up going out ala "Scarface" style.

I thought he would be smarter than this. Backing himself into a cabin like that is basically a suicide wish. He should have always been on the move. I wonder if he has any boobytraps around the cabin...

Asking units to not fire unless they see something from house...Dispatch also said that they have previous own on landline, with blueprints to house

If he's in there by himself.. why not breach and clear? I guess they can't even get close to the cabin?

He sure talked big but now he is surrounded and trapped like any other common thug. He obviously overestimated his abilities and underestimated the police abilities.

All that`s left to do now is wait and starve him out or wait until he kills himself, after all his big talk this is kind of anticlimactic.

ETA: When he got his truck stuck in the mud and had to burn it that was the first clue that he wasn`t all that he claimed to be.

They also asked for no more officers to respond, "sufficient help" is already on the mountain.
