Stop people from writing bad stories.

Look at Batman and Robin All-Stars. Frank Miller turned from a great writer to turning Batman into a crazed psychopathic killer with an awful catch phrase. And DC never really stopped him.

You must be responding to the wrong user or something; I never mentioned whether DC stops people from writing, why they do if they do, or if they should or shouldn't. DC isn't even who is angry at him.

He's writing Superman? Ick, that's beneath him. Superman has always been rather dull to me. It is rather odd to me he holds those opinions considering Ender's crimes put being gay to shame lol. I confess to liking the books. They are among the greatest in science fiction. I personally think Dune is the greatest, but that's just me (just don't read the ones Frank Herbert didn't write).

Either way, I don't see the issue with a voluntary boycott. He's not entitled to anyone's money. It's their right to boycott if they want to.
