I'm getting mental notes of nostalgia for the classical & finer things in life. Traditional musical instruments, Gothic/Victorian era connection, beauty in art, finesse & the contrast of duality.

Is the point of the OP that we can only see ourselves through the avatar? I often find myself associating with a person through their digital avatar in a unique way. There are specific posters & specific avatars that ingrain connections/feelings with the person.

As for my avatar, it's only my personal art. I associate with some of my characters/artwork because it's a reflection of the creative process that I spent so much energy on. Time and energy are indefinably important, as well as inseparable.

"Only" your personal art? It's beautiful. You can't help but put yourself into your art. I see strength and resiliance. I like it.

I'm seeing your apartment is full of junk! But, if you sold it all on ebay, you'd probably be able to afford a house twice as nice as the apartment... I could be totally wrong, don't be offended. It just popped into my head that way.

ETA. BY junk, I meant really cool vintage type collector stuff

What you see in my avatar is quite different than what you would see of me in the real world. I come here, not only to involve myself serious debate, but also to relax and have a good time.

Peace....!

Totally and perfect!!!

I couldn't have guessed at that answer, and YOU nailed it!

Well done, and thank you, as it's more than a minor wake-up call... I've been thinking of doing the very same thing you've suggested. - I just got back to ebay this weekend, first time in years, I think. (former "power seller", too, lol)

BTW, the avatar was created years ago when the situation was even worse.

Thank you, and WOW!

Thank you Gamma. =] It's one of the only ways I really express myself, apart from literature.

If you didn't see the full resolution version, the link is in my signature.
