Donny Deutsch subbing for Piers Morgan - What a relief!

He is sooo much better.

And no gratuitous USA bashing!

I've always liked him. He's funny, informed and insightful. He's totally full of himself but, it works so...what do you expect from a Mad Man ad exec? Typically he is commentary on the Today show or Morning Joe on MSNBC. I like him because he's not afraid to be brutally honest, even when it's unpopular. Maybe Piers should watch his back?

I think Piers has been popular enough for 'ol Max Headroom to come out of a long retirement and pull better ratings starting on the first night. Anyone else is a relief. Hopefully CNN considers alternates in a more ...long term sense.


He even had the accent as I recall. Piers is really that bad.

He's got an interesting mixed-opinion panel too.

As opposed to Piers just droning on and on and interrupting and such.

And they are doing a sort of "hot-topics of the day" round robin. It's pretty good. And it doesn't feel preachy and agenda-laden.

Good riddance. Hope he never comes back on any network. What a Dbag (Pierce).
