China Eclipses U.S. as Biggest Trading Nation

Here We Go...

First, China has been buying uber amounts of gold and has tripled their purchase of rice, corn and wheat in the last year. Now they have just passed the U.S. as the #1 trading power in the world.

Now I am just waiting for the other shoe to drop...that being the Chinese Yuan becoming the world's reserve currency. And if (or should I say when?) that happens, it will be dire straits for the U.S.

Or maybe we will just start another war...

The Chinese have built a house of cards? I think it was the U.S. that did that about 35 years ago, and now we are suffering the consequences.
