I've been watching Mercury's orbit for about two weeks and it has really seemed off, then when I downloaded the Stereo HI-B footage it just looks freaky.

Whoa.

Was Immanuel Velikovsky right in his Worlds in Collision theory that a close encounter between Mercury and Earth caused the fall of the Tower of Babel??????

Velikovsky was the first to use a role for electromagnetic forces in counteracting gravity and orbital mechanics.

Was he right?

DOOM ON?!?!?!

God Bless Everyone,

NewThor

No.
And Mercury is not going to hit Earth.
The proper forum for this thread is Skunk Works.

Trolling for youtube hits.
Agreeing is fine. So is disagreeing.

I thought Velikovsky said that Venus was the planet that caused the problems way back when.

Planets do not just randomly move out of their orbital paths for no apparent reason. No, Mercury is not going to hit the Earth as it never has in all of the time that the planets have been orbiting the sun. Youtube hit trolling is not cool.

He admits to being amateur at this stuff, he sounds drunk and or stoned. It is most likely the meteor that is supposed to pass by earth very closely soon. This video, if so, is a relief because it looks like it will shoot over earth by just a hair.

Did you break an old style thermometer?

That's the only way Mercury is likely to hit Earth.

No, it was Mars that supposedly crossed Earth's orbit and caused Joshua's "long day".

But Velikovski's ideas have been totally debunked by later science. I don't think there is any valid evidence that supports his ideas, these days.

I just checked. It was Venus.

Actually, it was both! I'd forgotten that. Thanks for the reminder.

First Venus & then later, Mars (which Venus had also disturbed from orbit).

DOES it look like Mercury is going to hit Earth? Yes it does.

That is most likely due to the position of the camera in relation to Earth and Mercury,
I imagine in 48 hours we'll see Mercury whip back to the left.

Please do note the video and thread say "It LOOKS like Mercury is going to hit Earth",
I'm not saying that Mercury WILL hit Earth.

...but I do believe Mercury's orbit has been a bit odd for two weeks,
and seeing the HI-B footage was enough to put that belief out there.

No. It doesn't.
And it won't. Go someplace else to troll for your youtube hits.

There is nothing random in the universe.

And, WE agree that planets just don't move out of their orbits,
they'd have to be acted upon by an outside force.

That is probably where we disagree.

I do believe that something is happening,

A galactic quickening?

A spatial tightening?

A celestial object/object entering out Solar System/Oort Cloud?

Something is happening to everything and it ain't normal.

OK. The video screen is two dimensional.

If you map out Mercury's path from A to B towards Earth it's almost a straight line.

Now, you and I know that in the 3D universe it's NOT a straight line.
but it does appear to the EYE when watching the video it LOOKS like
its going to hit Earth.

If you say no again.

I'll give up and you'll win
because we're just arguing semantics and perception.

"Chocolate ice cream is the best!"

"NO IT ISNT!"

I see. You know it won't hit Earth but it looks like it will if it were not in a circular orbit.

Troll.

I say in the video.

"ITS NOT GOING TO HIT EARTH. ITS NOT GOING TO HIT EARTH.
IT LOOKS LIKE IT but it's not going to. Though Mercury has been acting strange lately."

Call me a troll all you like, Phage.

AboveTopSecret is your town and you are the big bad sheriff.

All I am doing is raising Awareness.

It's MUCH the same if I say

"It looks like the economy is collapsing."

Will your fiat currency work tomorrow?

99.9% chance it will.

but it doesn't change the fact that within 2 years there is an
88% the entire global economy will collapse.

You're a big science-y math-y Phage.

So tell me this, Buckaroo Bonzaii,
WHY are governments across the globe systematically destroying their currencies?

And if at this point, you ask yourself "What does this have to do with Mercury and orbits?"

Then you're not as wise as I'd hoped you'd be.

Peace, brother.

Ah, yes.

Watching a 3 minute video about the $800 Trillion Dollar LIBOR ripoff
of the entire world isn't your thing.

Well, I will let you get back to calling people names on the internetz.
