Greetings fellow thinkers, planners, seekers of truth and everything in between.
Lately I have been scrapping about my usual confusion of everyday existence with a bit of an overwhelmingly uncomfortable feeling. I will in good faith try my very best to summarize these pressing concerns into a tightly knit plea for all who are willing to realize that I might be onto something. Before I start expressing my deep concerns, I would like to mention that I am by no means the perfect picture of innocence, strangely that my very well be the reason why I am typing this post.

Understanding the fundamental principles of the human ego and its significance to function in some sort of social hierarchy, I cannot for the life of me understand why a small amount of people need to be on some sort of power trip to feel content about themselves.
@%$* you, you big business tyrants and your puppet politicians!!!!!!!

Naturally i would suppose a sense of self respect and appreciation would manifest from doing something productive that will benefit others more than it would yourself. Yet everywhere I go (pardon me if I may seem self delusional) I see greed. From the constant escalating prices of mass produced food ,ironically created and processed by under paid laborers (also being greedy due too lack of income), too the absolutely ridiculous prices added to products of obscure functionality ( figure that one out for yourself)
@%$* you, you Monopolized Industrial dictator scum bags feeding off the good will of the everyday person.

This falsified and blatantly unfair world we find ourselves in makes me cringe with contempt on a daily basis.
Seeing people from all walks of life throwing away their sense of individuality for the conformity of a pretentious existence to survive is sickening. What ever happened to self discovery and respect for difference. Plastic people with plastic personalities trying to fit into a dysfunctional system to win their bread. Little girls dressing like female escorts, little boys fighting like Ufc super stars.
@%$* you capitalist media and marketing scumbags, your portrayal of existence is beyond the definition of a crime against humanity.

Lastly, and this is directed to all the ignorant hypocrites who always have something tho say about someone else without looking in the mirror. Better beware, there is a new breed of people rising out of the ashes, understanding and compassionate on a new scale. They do not judge by mere appearance or status, but by character and common interests in something greater than themselves. Tread carefully around these folk, they smell a fake from a mile away and sifting out hidden agendas comes naturally for them. Many of them are on this very website and I am sure they will agree that this sense of self awareness is spreading like wildfire amongst the naturally curious. So I say @%$* being normal and sacrificing personal identity and @%$* those selfish narrow minded folk who persecute anything that jeopardizes their comfort zone.

Thank you for putting up with my whining and venting, I feel better now

It`s their world they made it but they can`t force you to live in it, just stop buying their junk, stop playing in their sandbox.
I don`t own a cell phone i`ve never owned one, it`s not a necessity it just feeds the beast
I haven`t bought a new car in over 20 years, it`s not a necessity it just feeds the beast

I don`t miss not playing in their sandbox and not living in their world

I most definately try my very best not to support them, unfotunately I do own a cellphone for business purposes and of course contacting loved ones. Howerer I am proud to say I do not and have not very a very long time supported the giants of the fast food and soft drink industries, neither do I support mainstream music or any other product cosumed by the masses at the expense of the masses.

Peace and respect

I have a cell, but no contract and no land line. I also drive a 20+ year old vehicle, I would not own a newer one if they gave it to me free and clear. Also, as of 1 January 2013, I no longer pay income taxes and will not ever again.

This is so moving. Does anyone know the piece of music playing behind it? It's beautiful.

I enjoy the telly way too much for the sole purpose of watching my unbiased documentary collection that I have been thoroughly sourcing from close friend and folk from this website.

Although I wholeheartedly agree with you in the context of the mind numbing miss-information and blatant lies that daily media broadcasting spews around, never mind the absolute nauseating ''reality shows'' that float about these days. Ever heard of 'toddlers and tiaras' caught my mom watching that crap the other day, spent about 2minutes watching it with her to only be consumed with this internal rage beyond the comprehension of a serial killer ( okay it wasn't that bad) , but jeez what a sickening concept of mothers trying to fulfill there pointless dreams upon infants, turning them into little divas with attitudes more rotten than meat in a week filled son.

Although I tend to try and focus on like minded people who seem to be just as much bothered about these issues as I am. One tends to fall into this sense of isolation when your awareness alienates people around you. I find allot of refuge on this website

Keep well

Damn that video gets me everytime I watch it, tears of joy. The irony of it though is Charlie Chaplin was known for his silent movies but when that man spoke in 'The great Dictator' ,he spoke truth on a whole new level. I wonder who wrote that speech, that person deserves some credit, but then again I think it was ment to be heard and praised for its meaning and not its creator, For the people !

Thanks for sharing

I'm pretty sure Charlie wrote, directed and produced that entire movie...so I'm almost 100% certain Charlie Chaplin wrote the speech.

The song in that clip is "Time" by Hans Zimmer ... it's from the movie Inception's soundtrack.

Wow I really had no idea he directed the movie, although I am well aware he was some sort of philanthropist and what I like about his comedy is the pure universal genius of it. I mean anybody from any part of the world that speaks any language can find humor in a man tearing his arsehole on the slip of a banana peal.

Thank you for being so informative appreciate it, he was a bit before my time but then again I should not be such a lazy bum and do some proper research.

All the best we shall surely cross paths again

Ps Hans Zimmer is a legend composer, love his work in the Dark Knight movies, pure genius.

Thanks. While I did see Inception (and liked it a great deal), this music didn't catch my attention then as it has now. I could not stop hearing it in my mind's ear all day at work. I just listened to it again and realized that it "sounds" like waves coming ashore and receding over and over, getting stronger. Incredible composer.

The speech, too, is incredible. The words are so powerful that they almost seem beyond "man" in nature. More like the mankind/humankind we wish we could be.

I am very glad i found this website, It is amazing still how much i agree with most here and the few I don't agree with their perspective I still respect. It is sad that I used to just sulk up all those disgusting trends and all for nothing. I walk the streets now and I just hate what the world has become, how do people enjoy those lives I ask myself, walking around so blind in the world while the walls close in. I always thought it was my fault for being such an outcast, instead of just talking actually thinking, questioning everything always seeing the "what ifs" in life. I think everyone here sees the greed my friend, at least i know there are other who avoid it as well.

I stopped watching TV a couple of years ago and never looked back, it's the best thing I ever did!
