I have been toiling over posting this since yesterday. This is a speech given by Dr. Benjamin Carson at the National Prayer Breakfast yesterday morning and it is very powerful in many ways. So powerful in fact it made Obama very nervous to say the least. I would go into more detail and highlights but this is over 27 min long. Please, if you have the time check out the video.

I just have this sneaking feeling this speech is going to lead into something. What that is, I do not know, but I wanted to get it out there so we can watch the pieces fall together if it does. Of course if it doesn't I apologize for wasting your time but at the very least it is a very good speech.

He did lok nervous, but to be honest with you I don't think Obama has the critical thinking skills required to comprehend what this guy was saying. I hope we see more of him in the future.

I do believe Obama was moved at one point. I seen him wiping fake... er... I mean tears from his eyes with his finger tips again.

Dr. Carson's life story is phemoninal...he is the real deal...EVERYTHING Obama is not. I have watched his speech twice since yesterday. Eloquent, positive, and inspiring. He actually DID speak truth to power!!!

What got me was, when he started speaking of health care. I was looking at Obama at that moment and swear he perked up and actualy glowed for a second until he realized he was hearing an actual, workable and sane health care plan!

I heard him interviewed again tonight, he is awesome,

Carson speaks with common sense, most Dems don't want to hear what he has to say.

If Carson become too outspoken, too mainstream, too popular, a possible threat, look for TPTB to crucify him in the press.

Dr. Benjamin Carson courageously helps to unveil the lies and depravity which embody our parasitic self-serving government.

An exceptional speech -- a brilliant light being directed at darkness.

Carefully observe Obama's body language, although apathetic and spiritless, he slowly wakes up to what is being said. Michelle on the other hand remains in the dark, nothing more than a clueless clapping clown, who doesn't get the fact that what's being articulated is implicit opposition, to the monarchy.

A lionhearted truth movement is starting to unfold. Join it, if you're brave enough!

I have been looking for a transcript, I wanted to know more about his views on healthcare.

Carson’s remarks regarding what appeared to be his alternative to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) appeared to make the president uncomfortable at times, with Obama looking down and away as Carson began to describe specific suggestions.

ACA is President Obama’s landmark health reform legislation that was passed in 2010. Carson has spoken openly in the past about alternatives to the law.
ifawebnews.com...
“We spend a lot of money on health care, twice as much per capita as anyone else in the world, and yet not very efficient. What can we do?” Carson asked rhetorically. “Here’s my solution. When a person is born, give them a birth certificate, an electronic medical record and a health savings account [HSA] to which money can be contributed pre-tax from the time you’re born to the time you die.”

Carson went on to say that HSAs chould be passed on to surviving family members, so “there’s nobody talking about death panels,” in an obvious reference to the controversial “death panels” discussed during negotiations and after passage of ACA.

Regarding those who cannot afford health insurance, Carson suggested, “We can make contributions to their HSA each month,” he said, adding, “we already have this huge pot of money; instead of sending it to some bureaucracy let’s put it in their HSAs. Now they have some control over their own health care.”

Therein lies the problem. The power corrupt are just as willing to give up power as a heroine addict is willing to give up his/her heroine!

For better and more effective healthcare in the US let's keep licensing surgeons and specialists as is, mostly, and license a whole lot more people for general practice since mostly what they do is take temperature, blood-pressure, and prescribe pills - not very effectively, anyway. One does not need to live like a multi-millionaire to do that. That kind of work should pay about like a barber's wage, which is what physicians used to be anyhow. And if that is not good enough then medicine should be do-it-yourself self-medicating, and within reach of everybody. Medicine is a criminal racket the way it is.
