True: All of that remains to be seen. Would-be tyrants can be cunning, though--just reference our "current resident of the White House," as I call him.

However, we shall see what we shall see....

Very much what I was thinking. However, this state seems to take some perverse joy in turning us all into criminals. I don't think they'd be impressed by that argument....

i think this is diane finestines insurance plan as she knows the federal one wont pass so she will just try to disarm Californians more then they already have....i hope it dosent pass and cant see it being constitutional and see the supreme court smashing it down like they did Chicago's hand gun ban

We can only hope. However, I don't place much hope in our current Supreme Court either. It could take years to get there, though. You never know....

to be fair the 2nds rulings from the court recently have all been pro 2nd so unless some of the elder ones pass it should be safe for now it may be false hope but i have hope in them.

My mistake. I was not aware of recent rulings on the 2nd and was thinking of other things. Will go have a look-see later....

I hope everyone is considering the fact that Diane Feinstein is one of California's 2 Senators and a very powerful force in the state in general. She's the one pushing the national measures the hardest as well so, as California goes, so goes everyone eventually.

I seriously hate that your always right lol!
You remind me of my first wife!

Hopefully more states follow California's and New York's lead in controlling the mass shooting sprees that are becoming common every day occurrences.

Go California!

I would surrender California to China if they forgive America of it's $1 Trillion debt to them.

Why don't we all just create 1 piece of paper surrendering California to China in lieu of debt forgiveness?

Enough signatures would make it valid and deal with 2 birds with 1 stone.

Unarmed, California would serve no purpose to remain with the United States. Let's give it away.

Um, allow me to introduce the REAL Northern California, the rest of the state north of Sacramento and L.A. We do not hold the same values as Nancy Pelosi and Diane Finkstein. We have more traditional values, enjoy our rural lifestyle and most folks here are gun owners. We don't like what California lawmakers do, not one bit - but we are powerless because the Bay Area and L.A. are the major population bases. Our voices get overridden every time. I wish we could have been successful with the whole "State of Jefferson" thing a few years back.

So please do not say "all Californians" because there's a whole bunch of us who are not like our socialist/Marxist southern neighbors!

That good old 80/20 rule is obvious here. 20% of the population (CA,NY) where 80 percent of guns used in crimes are illegal weapons, That is where you put your premier gun control, and that is what they did. Most of the guns in these 2 states come from the outside, and that will have a huge effect on surrounding state gun sales, who's gun dealers are about 80% of the people complaining about gun control. Follow the money.

The only good thing is Nevada in next door.
And i can store guns there at my brothers.

I just hope they don't shut down the gun smithing school in northern calif before i finish the program.
at least the school is just across the state line from Reno NV.

As soon as i finish the school i am moving back to Texas.

God, California.

They never fail to surprise me. California is an utterly parasitic, defeated and useless state.

I swear, California has no business being part of the union. They have always been traitorous, favoring international interests over national ones. They are also very full of crap.

If a Marxist insurrection was ever a reality they would be the new capitol. California is literally so far gone, I dont think there is any hope for them. Well, I know that there are good people every where, but they must be a minority in Cali. California always have these retarded scams with public policy and this twisted and VERY delusional way of thinking about society and its structure.

They are the blind patriotic fools that make real patriotism look bad. They wave a flag and ingest all sorts of chemicals in everything they do, yet act like maniacs when you smoke or if you criticize the government. They are especially insane when you are critical of notorious international mafias that operate under the guise of ecology or multiculturalism. California is also the most racist part of the country. They like to make fun of the south but they are sure as hell NOT nearly as "live and let live" as the south. Californians are also very ill informed. Fox news is god to them. They are not even "good" liberals.

Pump yourselves full of silicone and see if you float when you sink into the ocean.

EDIT:
I wish to apologize to all the decent folk of Cali I may have carelessly grouped together with the ones I was actually addressing. To the rest, you really are crap.

*LOL* That is funny, you actually think the criminals are going to
follow these laws? Ammm they already have illegal guns and
shoot people, but ya, amm they better follow these laws...
Seriously, you need to wake up and get your head out of the sand.

On a separate note, Where are they going to put all the people who do not
follow these laws?

Just when I think the species has hit the rock bottom of stupidity I read the words "assault bullets" in a proposed piece of legislation.
