It's all you see because the media is playing it up and that's what they want you to see. It's called propaganda.

Don't believe everything you read. When you have 300 + million people in one area bad things are bound to happen but keep everything in perspective.

If 3,000 people died from guns last year that would really be .001 (1/thousanth of a percent) of the population.

Still terrible and un called for but it's not a perfect world and bad things happen and you can't stop all of them.

We have:
25,000 vehicular deaths a year
3,308 drownings a year
50,000 people a year die from the flu

Shootings have gotten out of control over there! Honestly people, how can you support everyone having guns? I really don't understand this at all :-( it seems far too easy for mentally unstable people to get a hold of guns over there.

Statistically speaking, shootings are down, but our agenda driven media is reporting EVERY SINGLE SHOOTING in order to make it seem as if there are more, when in fact there aren't.

They killed, no murdered other people because they are either crazy or just plain criminal.
They rejected the objective morals and values of society either due to insanity or criminality.

Lots of people are bullied---and they don't in turn kill someone.
Lots of people fail to achieve the American dream----and they don't as a result kill others.
Lots of people are mentally ill---and they don't commit murder.
Lots of people were/are ___________ (fill in the blank with your favorite or current cause)----and they do not kill or murder people.


Besides, they might just be atheists or agnostics who took the idea that we are nothing but highly evolved pond scum to its logical extreme.

You are clearly uneducated on how the laws for obtaining firearms work here... There just so happens to be some rules in purchasing a gun and you cannot just walk down the street, see a gun shop every three blocks, run in and purchase one, run out on a killing spree!

The last two sentences of your post are the only true statements you made. Subtract the sarcasm, and you're real close! What the hell is going on? Is like everyday there's more and more people who have succumbed to the system and their lies and manipulations!! I do believe that I am witnessing peoples fall into the herd everyday now. That's something to think about. . . Who's next?

Scary. Much scarier than the fact that all my neighbors are armed and can help protect our neighborhood if and when needed... S!#^!!!

1. drunk drivers
2. physical abuse
3. hospital/medical error
4. preventable disease
5. illegal wars / bombing
6. this list could go on to infinity.
I also imagine all of the above named killers dwarves the deaths from firearms.
But this list will never be review and certainly will not make headlines as it does not fit in with anybodies agenda.
Like I said, terrible loss but I think we better start worrying about the real killers.

8,000 people die every year from gun violence. It's not a new thing, and has gone down from 10,000 in 2007.
