Good for her. Even though she's probably stiking her neck out by doing so, it's nice to see when people in authority have some backbone and speak out. We could use more like her. Too many are willing to go with the flow expecting their "rewards" for remaining silent

As I have said in various ways over the years, ATS and the Internet for that matter is brimming over with "Boob-Tube Educated Closet Geniuses" who have been raised like "Veal" in the Cities and really don't know much of anything first hand except for maybe what is required to work a job, drive to and from that job and getting out into nature for them is a trip to the park or beach where they sit and walk around like the cattle they have become.

Allow me to go on. These "Veal" aka "Sheep" are the ones who look to the Government to take care of them where and when they can't take care of themselves; I say "when" because it is only a matter of time When they will repeatedly be sucking at the public trough, draining resources and burdening infrastructure that people like me have built and paid for. These people are Socialists of various shades and are amongst the enemies of all free people, our Constitution here in the USA and will be by one means or another amongst those who will support people like Barrack Obama, the Clinton, Bush and Gore Clans and a long list of disgusting humans who are two legged parasites by several definitions of the word.

I personally think there is really only one solution for ridding humanity of this cancer but it is probably a crime to say it so I will simply say the Pirates of Old had the right idea. Fortunately, many people are Waking Up but unfortunately it will probably be too late as the "Orchestrators" pulling the strings will soon crash the US Dollar, which of course will in turn have a domino effect that crashes all "Paper/Fiat Currencies" in their move to force all cash to the surface (legal and illegal cash hidden away) and onto what my bet will be a "Digital Currency" the Government can "Assess, Control and Tax At Will" but, there remains one huge obstacle to their plans here in the USA and that is the "Armed and Straight Shooting Civilian Population" of which a large percentage of us are military trained. This (the well armed civilian population) is what terrifies them (the Agenda 21 advocates and there knowing and unknowing minions); this is what the TSA and Police Check Points are and have always been about and while the Media continues their role in selling the people on their BS about making people safe, they pull attacks like 911, the Oklahoma Bombings, Waco, Ruby Ridge and who knows, maybe play a hand in mass murders like what happened at Sandy Hook, to name one opportunity.

Sides are being drawn and unfortunately, most of you City Dwelling Dependents will let your stomachs be your conscience and guide. In which case, stay right where you are but under no circumstance think for a moment you can escape out into the country where the farms and ranches are; WE DON'T WANT YOU; with of course the exception of good looking women and men who can do more than suck their thumbs (can you handle the truth?...I just told you it)

All Civilizations rise and fall; I am of the opinion that the USA is on its way down, not to rise again for many generations but I can assure you, my grandchildren and their children will be here because people like me are going to make damn sure of it.

Though like any other conspiracy this must be researched, it does remind me of one very popular thought. The best way to make people follow you is to make your plan something that will help them. What better way then offering rescue from global warming?

I watched the entire video and I'm not convinced this is a conspiracy or even a bad thing at all. The fact is that the world is more interconnected than ever before. Something seemingly minor on a local level can have a huge ripple effect on the other side of the planet. And then there are global problems. While I'm on the fence as to whether global warming is a natural cycle or a result of human activity, I do know though that pollution is not a good thing. When rivers in Ohio literally catch on fire and lakes are declared dead it's hard to argue there isn't a problem with pollution. And over population is an issue. Turn on the tv and see all the starving kids. These people don't have enough food; plain and simple. Something has to be done.

I appreciate Ann Bresington bringing this Agenda 21 to everyone's attention. She feels it's a bad thing and is doing what she believes is her civic duty. However, I'd like her to present some of her own solutions to these problems. because whether or not she wants to acknowledge it, there are global problems that are going to require global solutions.

You are a perfect example of what I spoke of earlier in this thread and are far from alone on ATS. It would be fine if what you thought and stood for pertained and effected only your life but what people like you want to do is impact other people's lives, take from us what is our god given and earned rights and for that I sincerely hope you don't hide in the crowd but will stand up for what you believe.

One of the purpose of agenda 21 is the redistribution of wealth. Why do you think Obama is spending, and spending, like there's no tomorrow, given billions of aid to foreign countries, while the debt in America keeps rising and rising?

The plan is to give it to the poor countries, and in the process bring America down, so that everyone is equal. That's where they are now in the process of agenda 21 in your country. But another UN mandate is also a gun ban, and they are working on that as well.

The plan is to have all countries about the same, no one higher than anyone else, that way everyone is much easier to control.

May I ask of the room a simple question (with no subtext, it's really a question):

As I move around my part of the world, I am constantly crowded. Traffic. Traffic. Traffic. Lines. Lines. Lines. Gas is up. Food is up. Rent is, as we know, "Too Damn High". It feels to me like we are all very, very crowded. Seven billion people. Yikes!

So, as a general rule, would it not be better to have fewer people if we could do it humanely? I mean, without starving or murdering anyone, would we not have a cleaner, safer, more spacious and vibrant life if there were only 1/4 the people?

Think of the last time you went on vacation to the beach, to the mountains, to the lake or river. Were you not crowded out by a bunch of other folks trying to escape the rat race, same as you? When was the last time you spent a day or two or three without running into a bunch of other people? Don't you ever want to be in a natural place with some solitude? I do.

And as far as land ownership goes, I have sometimes wondered how a human, a temporary life on what amounts to an eternal planet, can claim to "own" a piece of our common home. It seems like there are no free, open spaces any more. Every place is private, closed, fenced, restricted.

To simply "be" in a place you most often have to be engaging in some economic activity, either by renting your home (either from a landlord or from the bank in the form of a mortgage) or sitting at a table that you are renting via buying a plate of food, or a seat in a theater or something. There are parks and such, but they all have signs and "hours of operation" and police forces to move you along if you aren't spending money or are otherwise disengaged from any "useful" or "authorized" activity.

I don't have a hard position on this. I am trying to make up my mind whether A21 might not be a good idea in some aspects (minus the single global government which we imagine will be fascist/military).

It just seems like fewer people overall is a good idea. We can do it by attrition and not by meanness or violence.

I suppose the Illuminatti, or whoever you want to call them, do not have such a gentle, humane process in mind as I am thinking of, but still....you simply cannot enjoy the beach or the park because of the crowds. Air pollution from industry is frightening, and has been in the news lately (in China, for example) and water pollution from the likes of Exxon is a whole genre of frightening in itself. Toxic GMO food, poisonous EVERYTHING from China....on and on and on....

Bah.

Is there a way to talk about this openly and without shouting or name-calling?

How exactly will ten billion people, or twenty, be better than the seven billion we have now?

In this case, I am a person who is open to having his opinion altered, altered by evidence and good, rational argument. It seems like those opportunities are rare, since many folks are pretty set in their opinions here, and only want to shout at others.

I thought I'd offer myself to be convinced.

I'm sorry to inform you, but I live somewhere called the real world. Acknowledging that there are global problems doesn't make me some sort of socialist or communist. If I were to endorse a certain solution, then I would have no argument with you, but you choose to speculate and put words in my mouth.

I will say this: Whether anyone likes it or not there are global issues that if left unchecked will eventually affect everyone, not matter where you are. Go ahead and deny it or pretend they don't exist. Nobody ever said truth was easy.

Once it became evident that we are nearing an energy peak, it also became clear that the only way those controlling the wealth by controlling capital can remain in control is by moving wealth creation from the currently high per capita energy consuming places to those with a relatively low per capita energy consuming places.

The rest is a matter of detail and marketing the change in an as acceptable manner as possible.
