Its simple the average joe has no idea about photography they think if they buy an HD camera then all of sudden you'll be able to capture crystal clear video in any situation..they believe the consumer directed hype its 1080i at 18mp means good picture BS..most cameras and even some pro ones are not designed to capture objects in distance or in the dark.
The truth is most people do not carry fat zoom lenses with 3CCD sensors which is whats required for half decent video of anything so is it at all surprisng that the HD footage we see on the net is rubbish.
So the argument from pseudo skeptics that we have HD cameras in everything and we should of produced some decent UFO video by now is load of crap it doesnt change a thing.
