The kid told a cop, when they were going to the hospital, that he was thrown from the roof,” a source said. “The boy named the suspect.”
Freddy, before he lost consciousness, told the cop that 17-year-old Casmine Aska cast him over the ledge of the brick walk-up.
Investigators soon learned that the teen brute, who lived on the fourth floor, grabbed the child from his apartment and dragged him up to the roof, sources and witnesses said.
“(Freddy) was screaming,” said one neighbor, who ran outside her first-floor pad when she heard a “commotion.”
“He was saying, ‘Stop!’” said the neighbor, who did not want to give her name.

My heart felt prayers go out to the 9yr. old
This brings back bad memories for me . . .
Similar incident , exactly the same age. With not much to
do for the summer holidays I eagerly took an invitation to
go to our neighborhood park with which I thought
was a friendly jester to make a new friend.
I was naive enough even to make some sandwiches to take
along with us. As soon as we got there she suggested we
go up to this watch-tower that was aprox. three stories high.
As soon as we got to the top it was like BOOM, with out warning she
just pushed me over the handrail. When I landed on the
strategically placed steel drums at the bottom, only then did
I realize I had been lured into this predicament.
Why ? to this day I still don't know why, or even who she was.
I lost most of my blood and teeth, yet somehow managed
to walk back home with blobs of blood trailing behind.
Spent the rest of the summer in the hospital barely making it.
Some people don't need a reason to do evil, they just are not
human. Just a reminder, PLEASE keep a close eye on your kids.
