Does your GPU require seperate power connectors
If so you will get no output.

If your motherboard has Video onboard try and boot to that to see
if you get anything on screen.

You need to systematically go through your build, because something may well be defective under
warranty . Do you have both mother board power connector attached.. just sayin ,I've done it my self before.

I just took the motherboard out and set it up on the box and tried to boot it up. The GPU and CPU fans spin. The memory light is on. It tries to go through and make it compatible (going off the motherboard manual here) but it doesn't work.

The manual says when the RAM is incompatible is will cause a system boot failure.

Quick question hopefully someone can answer fast. I shorted the power pins to make this start up, how do I turn it off?

Just picked this up else where

this board has a record for bad memory slots. Try 1 stick of RAM in each slot to see if you can post to verify which slots are bad, then RMA.

So I'm assuming if I get this new RAM and the same problem happens, I'm going to have to return some parts? This is turning out pretty bad.

Have you tested one stick at a time in one slot at time?

Was it the vengeance RAM that you got in replacement?

I was sure it would boot with the slower timings of your old stuff! well you live and learn.

Enjoy your new system

Just finished downloading my free copy of the new Bioshock game that I got with my GPU. Looks amazing.

What programs do you guys recommend to keep an eye on the temperatures of your computers?

Played Bioshock for about an hour and my cpu is around 40 degrees. Does that seem good?

Yea that is pretty good. My CPU runs between 50-55C when I'm gaming out for long periods of time.
