Is it your shift now?
It's not a direct quote.

Obviously it is not a direct quote they would actually have to say that for there to be a direct quote none ever have.

I don't think that is quite what she meant, but clearly she believes in Government as does every single politician. Republicans say it's okay to exploit to gain wealth, no need to feel guilty as it's our God given right to deny any one their God given rights. Democrats say it isn't okay to exploit to gain wealth but it's the status quo, here's a cookie it will be okay.

Oh BULL! Republicans do NOT say it's ok to exploit. You give me one example of a Republican who ever said that. On the other hand it was a DEMOCRAT RAHM EMANUELLE who said never let a good crisis go to waste.

You don't think Hillary meant the same thing as Marx when she wrote, "It Takes a Village"? That is incredibly naive. I'm just amazed people fall for this.
I will give you one example of a Democrat who exploited American stupidity to gain wealth. It is Al Gore with his documentary on Global warming and going around speaking to people all over with his bull, then he turns arouns and sells his network to Al Jazeera for a pretty penny just to make money. He knows he sold snake oil and is laughing all the way to the bank.

I also believe in govt. There is however a difference between just and limited governing and Totalitarian centralized bureaucracy.

It looks to me like Hillary believes in the latter with her at the top of the heap. She obviously believes the State can raise our children better than the parents.

Thank you for your very explicit answer. So, you do have a tax deduction taken out of your paycheck which someone else controls and you just get whatever is left.
You see, I told you that you pay no matter how much it is called "free". The govt is NOT paying for it, you are. Unless you have no paycheck then someone else is obviously paying on your behalf. If the 25 mil of you are working and that is not covering the expenses, then your govt must be printing money the same way ours is....or is there some other magical method?
So 50 percent goes to healthcare and other services and you are happy with that? But you insist that because we are spending on defense and not healthcare somehow that is wrong. The fact is that we are spending way more on healthcare than is obvious. Hospitals have been closed down in California because of the ambulances coming over the border with illegals for treatment here. That is a fact. Michelle Obama's lil ol hospital turned away some poor patients, so don't get any ideas she cares about the poverty stricken. She goes to Paris on the taxpayer dole, among other things. I have zero respect for her family living it up on our dime. So don't go griping about how we spend on defense and then praise Mr Obama for sending our military in to Libya with the French Socialists. Obama is a spendy as anyone on things other than healthcare. He just pretends that he isn't as much of a warmonger as everyone else. In fact Democrats have gotten us into some of the biggest wars, including WWII. Thanks to our spending, a lot of European countries are not speaking Deutsch.

Who knows who is paying for it. Future generations? Chinese via Bonds?

My observation on spending of Healthcare versus Defense was just only that, just an observation. Everything in life ends up being a trade-off. You can't have a massive Defense Budget and pay into a collective social fund. It's like balancing the book at home. You've only got so much income, do I spend on home protection or medical insurance? I don;t see that there's a right or wrong answer. Your circumstances will make your decision for you. I wonder if at a national level you could syphon off a bit of the defense money to pay for it.

PS I looked up your National Budget on Defence and was surprised at the amount. Its only $1.4 trillion. On the population size that you have and keeping the same standard level that you currently have with Private Companies (and accounting for increased inefficiency). You'd probably have to spend around 75% of that budget on Social Healthcare. Obviously that's not going to happen.

The conservatives need to understand the Republican party is infested with progressives from the top down. TPTB want us to point and support the other side because at the end of the day they control both sides.

So the only pathetic thing I see is people blindly following one of these two parties. BUSH=OBAMA

The truth is so simple to see when you peel back all the crap. We are a fools. Arrogant simple minded easily lead fools.

Well, the US Constitution gives Congress the authority to provide for the common defense. It does not however provide for the redistribution of income to pay for healthcare. Perhaps yours does. But then you guys in the UK are already used to the concept of govt seizing your paycheck to pay for some other poor guy because a bunch of Socialists say it's the thing to do.

For the record though, I'm not into all the unnecessary and unwinnable wars. I'm with Ron Paul on that count.

He's far from a socialist. He's pretty capitalist and leans slightly left of center on social issues.
