That's false. A person can masterbate just for the simple reason of getting off without thinking about anything other than getting off. So yet again your statement is false.

No, it is the truth. Anyone who says otherwise is lying to justify sin.

Perhaps a false trinity god would accept this self justification, but the true Holy Spirit does not. When people receive the true gift of the Holy Spirit, the need for such sins goes away. The greatest proof against you, is the witness of those who once committed this sin, but received the gift of the Holy Spirit and no longer have the desire to continue in this sin.

Now you're trolling.

you did that in another thread when you couldn't provide a simple verse for your doctrines.

You can't prove the Holy Spirit wrong, can you?

Of course not. He is where conviction of sin comes from

He also inspired the Scriptures, which fail to mention masturbation as a sin.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (KJV)
11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

You seem to think they have nothing to do.

Again, another non-sequitur. I made no comments at all on Ephesians 4.

And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother's wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.

9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

10 And the thing which he did displeased the Lord: wherefore he slew him also.

Worthy of death according to the OT God...

Your teaching makes the five-fold ministry, empty titles. It also rejects the teaching of the Holy Spirit and the fact that lust is involved in this sin.

Go back several pages, we already talked about Onan. He was killed not necessarily for spilling his seed, but for not fathering a child with his brother's widow. That was why he was killed.

"less that he should give seed (a child) to his (dead) brother".

I never talked about the five-fold ministry of the church. And secondly, I never said lust wasn't a sin. I said it's possible to masterbate without thinking of a woman. In the cases where a man masterbates while thinking about someone else then the sin is lust, not ejaculating.

You claim that they have no authority to teach that something is a sin unless it is clearly stated in Scripture. Really, in your view, they have a title without authority.

Even if the person is not thinking of a woman, it is still a sin due to the fact the person must be thinking of someone or something. Anyone who says otherwise is lying about it.

They have the responsibility to teaching the Scripture. Church leadership cannot add to the Word of God. That's what the Pharisees did. I would read Mark 7 to see what Jesus said about teachers who taught doctrine that wasn't in Scripture. That's how to test a false teacher, if they say things that are not backed up by the Word.

There is a difference between teaching doctrine, such as the trinity, that is not found in Scripture and teaching against a sin that is not found in Scripture based upon the teaching of Scripture and the Holy Spirit.

There is no Scripture that says "watching porn is a sin", but we know it is a sin because of lust being a sin. The same goes for this sin.

Why are you constantly obsessed with arguing about the Trinity and making every discussion about it? I've told you numerous times that you can use the search feature and argue that topic on any of over 100 current threads. For the last time, I'm not going to let you change the subject.

My goal was not to change the topic, it was to show how you are Scripture only except for when it suits your religion to not be.

You have things backwards. You should be more Scripture only when it comes to doctrines, but more open to the leading of the Holy Spirit when it comes to what is a sin. Since you do not have the Holy Spirit to lead you, you should listen to someone who does.

Quite arrogant. I DO believe the Trinity is scriptural, but that isn't the topic here. That's why I don't care to derail this discussion.

Perhaps you should go back to one of those threads and post the Scripture that says "God is three gods/persons" then. Otherwise you look a bit hypocritical in your view of Scripture only.

I am discussing the sin you are trying to justify. If you want to discuss derailing threads, do a search or start your own, don't derail this one.

Yet you have never made a post with a Scripture that says "God is three gods/persons". Therefore revealing your view of Scripture only is hypocritical.

Of course I haven't. I don't believe in three Gods.
