Flabbergasting.

I don't know what else to say.

A person serving a 60 year sentence in Indiana is 'mistakenly' released somewhere else due to some clerical error? And wouldn't it figure it's Chicago that made the mistake?

Nice job people.

I suppose all I have to do is commit some crime in Chicago, then another somewhere else, be convicted and transported back to Chicago and be let go?

Good thing the gun laws are strict in Chicago.

Chicago can't keep track of a prisoner in their custody but think they can track the guns the people legally own?

Thank god he won't have a gun available to him since he escaped in Chicago.

At least we won't have to worry about him killing anyone else.

Scotty: The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain.

Scotty, Star Trek III

That local Criminal Justice System must be so clogged up by over tired court workers, over arrested civilians, and way under paid officers, that a mistake like this is bound to happen far more often than it seems to.

I'd say they are doing a great job if this is such a rare incident.

It is a conspiracy laid down by Barack 'Hussein' Obama.

Now that criminal will kill more people.

And Hussein will enforce gun laws easily.

And then American's will be defenseless when Al-qaeda attacks them.

It's still troublesome that ...
... Illinois, in general...
... and Chicago, in specific ....
They want to control guns in the public's hands and they can't control ONE person in their care.
