An American bloke once called me dudette.....it didn't offend me or anything....but i did find it rather cringe worthy!

I don't think this has been mentioned yet, which greately surprises me. "YOLO", I can't describe how infuriating that phrase is. They use it as an excuse to do things that are rather dangerous where I am from. For example, these people who wanted me to jump off of a cliff into shallow water said "YOLO" when I refused. I said " All the better reason not to do it, right?". I think "YOLO" should be used to PREVENT you from doing those dangerous things, not incite them. Since you only live once.

Another that was mentioned before is "Swag". Then, from that they devised the newest one of them all: "Swagfag". (Please excuse my language on that, but it had to be stated.)

So YOLO is actually replacing the old term YELLOW for coward I guess? I have never heard that.

YOLO means You Only Live Once and was coined by an artist named Drake. Its been done to death though and is now HIGHLY annoying.

I freaking HATE the word "comfort food". I thought I was the only one.

Also the words "sip", "goodie" and "nibble" are like nails on a chalk board to me.

I guess they don't say "feeling peckish" anymore but I HATE that term!

I basically want to vomit when I here someone use the word proactive. "We need to stay proactive". Oh shut up already.

Or when someone says "bite me". That gets under my skin for a couple days.

And the all time most annoying saying = "sorry, my bad".

Go jump off a bridge. ~$heopleNation

Who are you to say what words people should use and should not?

IMO your a racist because you don't like words used by groups outside of your own and you already label someone just by the way they speak...

"Bro or Dude" - whoever says it just want to say shut the heck up you hipster doofus.

I could say your use of the words "hipster doofus" is the dumbest, stupidist combo play on words I have ever heard but becasue I don't judge people by the way they speak.... nevermind.

Grow up and let people speak and use the words that they want to use to express themselves.

Sounds like you should start your own "RANT" and let him do his.

I couldn't agree more. I never understood why "balls" were given the role of "standard of courage."
They're the first things guys defend when we're in a fight.

"L.O.L." or "O.M.G." in real life situations. Even said sarcastically. That is all.

Another one:

ORIENTATE

Not a word, people. Orient, oriented, orientation.

Think - Class, classify, classification. You do not classificate something, why would you want to orientate it, too?

I hate the term 'nutter'. It drives me nucking futs!
Although people use it to mean 'nutcase', it just doesn't have the same context. When I hear someone call another person a 'nutter', I can't help but imagine that person sitting at home all day playing with themselves.
Why is it so difficult to just say 'nutcase' or 'nut job'?
