Camera-toting bird spurs fish photo mystery

It sounds like a fish tale — a Saskatchewan woman comes to the aid of a water bird with a camera hanging around its neck ... only to discover numerous fish photos on the memory card. But it happened to Saskatoon's Karen Gwillim in September, as she was driving through the village of Craven.

LOLOLOLO Okay, I had to post this story when I read it as its just too bizarre. Have fun

What? Read the story. The camera fell in the water while fishing. The pictures are of men holding fish, like you would see from any fishing trip.

Did you think the bird was taking pictures of fish in the water?

These are diving birds, so I'm guessing while it was fishing at the bottom, the silver camera looked like a meal and got wrapped around it's neck.

What are the chances of a bird getting snagged on a camera thirty feet below LOL

Poor bird! Glad she saw it and was able to free it.

How cool though, for the camera owner, to think it was lost for good, and to be found over a year later and returned.

What are the chances
1 the bird gets the strap around his neck.
2. A woman drives by when it can fly no further (It was hundreds of miles away from where it was lost.
3. She is one who actually sees the bird and cares enough to stop and help
4. The bird lets her.

coincidence?

very strange
