Bonesman Kerry gets the nod as Secretary of State

So we have bonesman who are part of secretive cabals of high ranking influence peddlers and lifelong pals as secretary of state now? We really need a change in the United States. We need to get away from giving the reigns of power to those who are most coveting those powers. The reigns of power should be given to those least seeking it and most qualified for such. Then perhaps we would get the work of the people done and not the giant mega banking corporations.

from what i understand in america those powers are bestowed, that is why they are so coveted.

you choose amongst yourselves as to who will get those powers.

if you force those powers on the least of the ones that want it, is where that saying by shakespeare, which came from a play: "Be not afraid of greatness: some are born great, some achieve greatness and some have greatness thrust upon them".

That is funny. In America honors and benefits are thrust upon the ungrateful. Those who do not deserve it. For the benefit of only the few who benefit greatly by their well placed brethren.

In any democracies, you thought your vote counts but that is just an illusion.

Is Kerry really powerful or is he just a useful idiot ? There's no difference from how a Chinese is elected/promoted to the politburo and yet we laughed ourselves silly that our way of doing things are superior.

How do you find someone to fill a position of power that isn't seeking any powerful positions, it's not the Uni-Power or the zords of the Power Rangers? Is it some kind of ancient riddle?
