France 'totally bankrupt', says labour minister Michel Sapin

Michel Sapin made the gaffe in a radio interview, which left French President Francois Hollande battling to undo the potential reputational damage.

“There is a state but it is a totally bankrupt state,” Mr Sapin said. “That is why we had to put a deficit reduction plan in place, and nothing should make us turn away from that objective.”

In the article:

Pierre Moscovici, the finance minister, said the comments by Mr Sapin were “inappropriate”.

You think - don't go telling the people the truth. Imagine the chaos if the people knew that the global economy really sunk in 2008, that we are spending trillions every year to maintain the illusion of a "recovery"

Maybe it's time the French have themselves another little changing of the guard. I hear they showed Marie Antoinette a real good time. Nothing worth losing anyone's head over tho, right?

Viva La France!

He added: “France is a really solvent country. France is a really credible country, France is a country that is starting to recover.”

Hell, that could be the U.S. he's describing......

As much of a shocker that may have been, at least he told the truth.
These politicians think we are all so gullible, to believe their stories.
Any one with some sense can see all of these countries are in deep financial ruin, including US.

"Oh, but we're in a recovery"
Yeah right......
Let's just print some more money$$$$$$

The article said that 80% of the general public believe it is true!
France is totally bankrupt! Okay, i guess they should tax the rich 95% and solve the
problem. Right ???

The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other peoples money.

Time for another bail out?
Did they see this coming in Davos?

Lets just print money and see what happens!
