Freedom and liberty? RT was created by the Kremlin to improve others' views of Russia from outside the country. That was their stated purpose--to basically get rid of the negative associations of Russia through a news channel. However, I've noted that just about every inflammatory and provocative bit of anti-government sentiment usually gets sourced straight back to RT.
There is always a chance that what they are reporting is true. I grew up in the Cold War so I'm a little less trusting although I'll acknowledge that the Cold War was more Lukewarm than Cold. However, I'd trust this story: www.amsterdamnews.com... because it's not RT more than I would trust RT to report without provocative or inflammatory language. Better yet, paying attention to them both and identifying possible biases would be best.
