Look at this black hole
m.teachastronomy.com...

One cant hope but wonder if these images are fake. After all it is from nasa. What makes me wonder is that they are able to get clear images of galaxy's and massive up close shots of black holes millions of miles away.
That black hole is MASSIVE.

All of them are art. The huble does not take pictures like a regular camera. They require some one to come in and fill in the blanks.

If black holes are suppose to not allow light to escape.... why is the brightest place in most photos of galaxies the center where the black hole is? My guess is there is a large density of stars near the center black hole, and they are more consolidated there, and whipped around at highest speeds, so the light gets ejected at high energy levels and lots at one time, and so it floods over the center area...

What beautiful pictures!

I don't care whether they're in color or not -- what's important to me is that all this wonder is out there.

And the American reaction?

Defund NASA.

In picture #4, of the Crab Nebula, I see a portal-like thing in the middle. Also, in # 15... or was it #16? One of those two... anyway.

The #27 photo is kinda frightful. On the right side of the swirling gases, I see a skeleton face with a scarf, and like a crown / norse-helmet with two horns on it, and wings rising up behind the figure.

Cool beans. What else did you all see in these photos?

Normally, I'm not one to look at an abstract image, and extract all sorts of wild theories as to what we're looking at, but this photo is just plain obvious

img4.catalog.photos.msn.com...

to me, it looks like a representation of a soul being elevated out of its corporeal prison. but thats just me.
