The Islamic Republic's state-run, English-language Press TV said the monkey was retrieved alive.

Shortly before it was executed.

For being an Israeli spy, no doubt.

He may have been part of their nuclear program too.

Years ago, this would have been a technological achievement.

Today, its animal cruelty...

That bloody thing looks like it wouldn't make it 15km into the sky let alone outerspace. I bet that monkey was crapping his space dacks when he seen what he was in for.

Nah, that could have been any monkey they found. They never interviewed him either😷
All we saw was a big firework going off, then a monkey came out of a helicopter. No monkey space walks or anything, don't believe it. Monkey business if you ask me lol

I'm sorry that monkey had to lose it's twin brother in the name of propaganda.

Well I could make several jokes about this one but I'll let others do it this time.

That was a biological weapons test. They are going to launch monkeys infected with smallpox at their enemies. Its also a fast way to send somebody somewhere. They could have put Vern Troyer in that small rocket.

These are quite similar to the Safir rockets that Iran has, at least in capabilities. This does not surprise me since Iran has been building up to this point for a few years. I do know they killed a monkey a couple years ago while attempting this. But before the launch we are talking about they sent the same vehicle up successfully, and it contained the setup for the monkey, without a monkey. Before that they were sending up some other types of animals, but small ones from what I remember...Maybe insects before that. They are going to go for a manned mission soon I would think, maybe within 5 years, if they still exist at that time.

Country's 1st Astronaut
TEHRAN, Feb. 4

www.mehrnews.com...

I am ready to be the first Iranian in space: Ahmadinejad

Ahmadinejad remembered martyr Tehrani Moghadam and said; “I am ready to be the first human to be sent to space by Iranian scientists,” and continued that devil enemy are worried about the progress of the Iranian nation in all scientific fields and it leave no more room for their predatory tactics to loot Iranian resources.

“we should admit that some [powers] do not tolerate Iranian greatness and growth. Iranians has incited devils’ hatred by Iranian idealism, perfectionism, and being human.”
