Illinois: illegal immigrant driver's licenses available in 10 months

What if this is really a law so that they can have illegals info such as address DOB etc etc... Then, what if they veto this law, say a year down the road. Then, lets say they decide to track down all the illegals that got licenses and deport them back to there own country... Idk if it's just me but something smells fishy about this.

These people are Socialist, and likely Marxist, they believe in social justice and equality regardless if it's truly the right thing. They believe what they are doing is just. I believe the law of karma will still find them, but it sure is maddening that they do this stuff right in our faces.

Yeah, I have uninsured motorist coverage. Had it then too. But what I discovered is that it only covers bodily injury damages and doesn't cover damage to the vehicles or property - which is what I ended up paying for. In Illinois you have to have uninsured motorist coverage... for bodily injury. It's not required to have uninsured motorist property damage coverage. I started that policy nearly 18 years ago when I was still in high school. I didn't know there were two separate kinds, nor did my agent explain that to me. Learn something new everyday, eh?

All I needed was 2 pieces of mail, something with my signature on it, and some form of ID. I had a state ID, so that's what I used, though you could use a passport, a birth certificate, what-have-you. Oh, and $20 or whatever it was.

Good lord, where are you going to get your license? I have to renew by the end of March and I'll just have to walk in, show my ID, get my eye test and then have a new photo taken. Notarized BC? I also never needed to give out my SS# for an insurance quote. I do recall being on some insurance company website and SS# was an optional field though.

how do you get insurance without SS#? How do they run a credit check? I have to have a credit check when I get insurance...do they get out of credit checks too?

Insanity isn't it, they even wanted my fingerprints to baby sit my own great granddaughter, I'm telling you there is a different set of rules depending on where you come from.

I hope its a scam, to let illegal immigrants come in to get their liscense and then the police have their addresses so we can raid their homes and deport them.

Pay taxes to upkeep these roads....they do not pay taxes...so why should we pay for the wear and tear of the freeloaders

A large part of road maintenance comes from the tax when you fuel up, the neighborhood road maintenance comes in part from the local property tax, if someone is renting or owning they are contributing to the road tax. When you register the vehicle, the tax you pay on that, part of it is being put towards the road. An even larger part (on truck routes) comes from Semi trucks, it's about 90 billion dollars nation wide [Truck drivers pay the road tax directly instead of at the pump].

So tell me again who doesn't pay taxes on the roads?

Don't try to make it sound as if your Federal Income tax is what's paying for the roads because it is not

It's not just about income tax...it's all taxes except sales tax or fuel tax like you mentioned..i mentioned several things as well..such as employee wages etc...

Vehicle registrations? Nope they don't do that either...
Income taxes ..most do not.
property taxes...nope...well maybe depending on how they got the property..

There is no way the few tax dollars collected from them outweighs the costs spent on them...

Either way...let illinois do this, maybe more will leave this state and go there..

More like: I own a hotel, someone breaks in and stays in a room... but, I don't know which room and they keep charging room service to other paying customers. Meanwhile, the people responsible for removing the trespassers don't do their job, so now you give out a plastic card that keeps other customers from being unfairly charged. Have the trespassers benefited from this change? No. They're still trespassing and doing trespasser stuff just as they did before.

And no, I don't give them a key to my door since they already busted it in. But now since they didn't have bust-down-the-door insurance, mine makes me pay for it all. Possibly even doctor bills for the guy because he busted up his foot kicking in my door.

Lucian, you do realize, you just underminded your whole arguement with this post. I'll say it again...THEY ARE ILLEGAL.....if something is ILLEGAL, it is against the law, breaking the law. Also, they find short cuts around everything. Do you know how easy it is to get an Identity? A SSN? If your that upset your insurance premimums went up, take the guy to civil court...if you could find him.....

Boss said I'm not allowed to take the skyway anymore in the truck, since they jacked up the price, in the truck it now costs 21 bux to go through it, (I mostly haul steel from east Chicago IN to Franklin Park IL on a daily basis) so I have to go the long way around haha

No vehicle registration? someone registers the vehicles, a vehicle with no plates isn't getting very far. Every person I know personally that is "Illegal" has a tax ID number and they pay taxes, I know more Natural born citizens that don't pay taxes... go figure
