It was a Disco Inferno.

Yea, I just did it too. I'm awful I know.

Anyway, Brazil doesn't have the same standards as the U.S. Latin America is a very different place. "Building Codes" are really enforced in many countries so you get scary stuff like this. It's really terrible, almost 300 people dead. Just awful. I was going to mention how much it reminded me of the Rhode Island fire from years ago.

I don't remember saying it has never happened here, but it doesn't happen as much as it generally does in the developing world.

I know you didn't say it, but the way you wrote it made it look like that.

When it happens in a developing country it's because "they don't have the same standards as the U.S.", so, why does it happened in the US?
